The communication method includes: An access device determines a first throughput rate of a backhaul link at a first moment. The first throughput rate includes an uplink throughput rate and/or a downlink throughput rate, the uplink throughput rate is used to determine an access device used by a terminal device for uplink transmission, and the downlink throughput rate is used to determine an access device used by the terminal device for downlink transmission. The access device sends the first throughput rate to a first routing device. In this way, a route of the backhaul link is dynamically adjusted, fluctuation of a wireless backhaul rate is reduced, and reliability of the backhaul link is improved.

摘要: A clock port attribute recovery method includes a network device setting a value of a port attribute of a clock port of the network device to a first value based on the clock port not receiving any one of three types of clock messages: N synchronization messages, follow-up messages, and delay response messages within a timeout interval, where the first value indicates that a message is lost on the clock port. Based on a case that a recovery condition is met, the network device sets the value of the port attribute of the clock port to a second value, where the second value indicates that a status of the clock port is that the message is not lost.

The method includes: a first network element generates a first clock packet, where the first clock packet includes a first source identity and first clock information, and the first source identity is used to indicate a device that provides the first clock information. The first network element sends the first clock packet to a second network element forming a ring network with the first network element. The first network element receives a second clock packet sent by the second network element, where the second clock packet includes a second source identity and second clock information, and the second source identity is used to indicate a device that provides the second clock information. The first network element skips tracking the second clock information after determining that the second source identity is the same as the first source identity.
