    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and a related apparatus, to position a terminal device by a positioning device. A first access network device sends a retrieve UE context request message to a source access network device. The first access network device receives a retrieve UE context response message from the source access network device. The retrieve UE context response message includes reference information used to configure a sounding reference signal SRS of a terminal device, and/or information used to indicate to configure an SRS for the terminal device. The terminal device is in inactive state. The first access network device determines SRS configuration information of the terminal device based on the reference information and/or the information used to indicate to configure the SRS for the terminal device. The first access network device sends the SRS configuration information to the terminal device.

    Abstract: Model evaluation methods and apparatuses are described, which may be applied to systems such as 5G and vehicle-to-everything (V2X). In an example model evaluation method, an inference device determines an inference output of a machine learning model based on an inference input of the machine learning model, where the machine learning model is determined based on first configuration information. The inference device sends a first message to a measurement device, where the first message includes a measurement object, the measurement object is determined based on the inference output, and the first message is used to request a measurement result of the measurement object. The inference device receives the measurement result from the measurement device, where the measurement result corresponds to the inference output. The inference device sends an evaluation result to an update device, where the evaluation result is determined based on the inference output and the measurement result.

    Abstract: This patent application discloses a radio access network slice generation method, a radio access network, and a slice manager. The method includes: receiving, by a radio access network, a radio access network slice generation request message sent by a slice manager; and generating, by the radio access network, a radio access network slice. The radio access network slice generation request message includes information about a service type, and a protocol stack corresponding to the service type is configured for the radio access network slice. In this patent application, there is no need to repeatedly deploy different radio access networks to meet different service types, and therefore operating expenses are reduced. The radio access network slice may be quickly generated, and this facilitates rapid deployment of a new service.
