Abstract: A handover method and a communication apparatus are provided. The method includes: After sending a handover command to a terminal device, a source network device sends, to a target network device, at least one data packet that is not successfully received by the terminal device, so that after the terminal device accesses the target network device, the target network device sends, to the terminal device, the at least one data packet received from the source network device. Because the data packet forwarded by the source network device to the target network device includes a data packet on which the source network device has performed PDCP processing and for which no acknowledgment response from the terminal device is preceived, a data loss of the terminal device in an inter-system handover process can be effectively avoided.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a paging collision processing method and a related apparatus. The method includes: When a terminal device detects that a paging occasion of the terminal device in a first camped cell collides with a paging occasion of the terminal device in a second camped cell, the terminal device may determine a first paging parameter, and may send first information including the first paging parameter to a first network device corresponding to the first camped cell. The first network device sends second information including a second paging parameter to the terminal device. The terminal device determines a second paging occasion of a first identity module card of the terminal device in the first camped cell based on the second paging parameter in the received second information. The terminal device monitors a paging message in the first camped cell on the second paging occasion. The second paging occasion does not overlap a third paging occasion of a second identity module card of the terminal device in the second camped cell in terms of time. According to embodiments of this application, a paging collision that occurs when the terminal device monitors the paging message can be avoided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to delay measurement methods and apparatus. In one example method, a first communications device receives a data unit from a second communications device, where the data unit includes time information, the time information is used to indicate a first moment at which the second communications device sends the data unit, and the time information indicates the first moment based on a part of bits of a frame number. The first communications device determines a delay from the second communications device to the first communications device based on the first moment and a second moment, where the second moment is a moment at which the first communications device receives the data unit.

Abstract: This application discloses a communication method, a related device, and a computer storage medium. The method includes: receiving, by a core network node, a first message, where the first message includes orbit information of a satellite node; and determining, by the core network node, first area identity list information based on the orbit information, and sending the first area identity list information to a terminal, where the first area identity list information includes at least one first area identity, and the first area identity is used for access or mobility management of the terminal. This application helps the core network node perform access or mobility management on the terminal and track a location of the terminal. This implements non-terrestrial communication.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to data transmission methods and apparatus to implement quality of service (QoS) flow-based data transmission in an architecture in which a central unit-control plane (CU-CP) and a central unit-user plane (CU-UP) are separated from each other. In one example method, when receiving data of a QoS flow, the CU-UP may send a QoS flow identity (ID) and a protocol data unit (PDU) session ID that are of the data of the QoS flow to the CU-CP, where a PDU session corresponding to the PDU session ID includes the data of the QoS flow.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for transmitting a scheduling request (SR). One example method includes sending, by an access network device, an SR configuration to a terminal device, where the SR configuration includes SR parameters corresponding to a plurality of wireless physical layer parameter numerologies. When there is to-be-sent uplink data, the terminal device selects, according to a preset policy, one SR parameter corresponding to a logical channel (LCH) on which the uplink data is located, and transmits an SR on an SR resource corresponding to the selected SR parameter to request an uplink grant. Further, the terminal device requests the uplink grant with reference to a maximum number of SR transmission on the LCH or a maximum number of SR transmission of the terminal device in the SR configuration.
