Abstract: A gap determining method includes: A terminal device receives first configuration information and second configuration information from a network device. The terminal device receives scheduling information from the network device. The terminal device determines a downlink gap of the first channel based on the first configuration information. The terminal device determines a first gap between the N transport blocks based on the second configuration information. When the terminal device determines that a preset condition is satisfied, the terminal device determines that a gap part that is included in the first gap and that overlaps with the downlink gap is postponed in time domain and that a gap part obtained through postponing does not overlap with the downlink gap; or when the first gap includes a gap part that overlaps with the downlink gap, the terminal device determines that the gap part belongs to the downlink gap.

Abstract: This application discloses a data transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes: A network device generates downlink control information DCI. The DCI indicating a first modulation scheme or a second modulation scheme. The DCI includes a modulation and coding scheme MCS field. The DCI indicates the first modulation scheme when the MCS field is in a first state, or the DCI indicates the second modulation scheme and an MCS index of the second modulation scheme when the MCS field is in a second state. The network device sends the DCI. A terminal receives the downlink control information DCI, and receives or sends data based on the DCI. In embodiments of this application, the first modulation scheme, the second modulation scheme, and the MCS index of the second modulation scheme are indicated by using different states in the MCS field, to support a new modulation scheme without increasing DCI overheads.

Abstract: A data transmission method in the present application includes: determining, by first UE, a frame structure in a time unit, where the frame structure indicates that N type-1 OFDM symbols and a GP are included in the time unit, and a subcarrier spacing of each type-1 OFDM symbol is Δf1.
