    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a channel measurement method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: A first apparatus receives K signals, where the K signals correspond to K ports. The first apparatus measures the K signals to obtain measurement results, where the measurement results are used to determine channel state information corresponding to R ports, R is greater than K, and K is greater than or equal to 1. According to solutions provided in embodiments of this application, resource overheads for channel measurement can be reduced.

The method includes: receiving first information sent by a first terminal device, where the first information indicates a second terminal device to send assistance information; and sending the assistance information to the first terminal device, where the assistance information is used to assist the first terminal device in selecting a resource for data transmission. The second terminal device assists the first terminal device in determining the resource for data transmission, instead of completely determining, by a terminal device that sends data, the resource for data transmission.

    Abstract: This application may be applied to an internet of vehicles, for example, V2X and LTE-V. A first terminal apparatus determines, a first resource pool. The first terminal apparatus detects control information of a second terminal apparatus, where the control information indicates second service data of the second terminal apparatus, and the control information includes location information of the second terminal apparatus, a first frequency domain resource, and a periodicity of the second service data.
