    摘要: A receptacle electrical connector assembly of the present invention comprises a main frame, three electrical connectors, a first and a second side cover positioned on both sides of the electrical connector assembly, a first group of terminals, a second group of terminals, and a grounding terminal mounted on the first side cover and a third group of terminals mounted on the second side cover, and a shield covering a front of the receptacle electrical connector assembly. The main frame defines three receiving cavities. Each electrical connector has a housing and a set of contacts retained in the housing which is designed to mate with an inserted audio jack. A plurality of contacting portions project from either side of the housing. A plurality of contacting portions of the grounding contacts project from a certain side of the housings, and the contacting portions of the contacts of the middle electrical connector projecting from the other side of associated housing. Each terminal comprises a contact section engaging with a corresponding contacting portion of the contacts, a bending section extending perpendicularly from the contact section, and a soldering section extending vertical to the bending section. Each contact section is not co-planar with the soldering section. The terminals engage respectively with the contacting portion the contacts of each of the three electrical connectors. The design of the terminals allows for easy manufacturing and less waste in cavities strips.

    摘要: A switching device for an electrical connector comprises a cover and a base securely assembled with the cover. A plurality of contacts comprising first contacts, second contacts, and third contacts are secured in the base. A plurality of switching terminals each includes a positioning portion, a first tab, a second tab, and a third tab. Each switching terminal forms a pushing end opposite the positioning portion, the pushing end also connecting the first tab to the third tab. The tabs respectively form first, second, and third contacting portions thereon. In operation, the first and the second contacting portions are respectively engaged with the first and second contacts when the pushing end is not being pushed laterally. When the pushing end is pushed laterally, the first contacting portion disengages from the first contact, and the third contacting portion moves to engage with the third contact, thereby switching a signal transmission.

    摘要: A receptacle electrical connector assembly of the present invention comprises a main frame, three electrical connectors, a first and a second side cover positioned on both sides of the electrical connector assembly, a first group of terminals, a second group of terminals, and a grounding terminal mounted on the first side cover and a third group terminal mounted on the second side cover, and a shield covering a front of the receptacle electrical connector assembly. The main frame defines three receiving cavities. Each electrical connector has a housing and a set of contacts retained in the housing which is designed to mate with an inserted audio jack. The contacts comprising a first contact, a second contact, a grounding contact, and a pair of switch contacts. Each contact further defines a contacting portion, and the contacting portions of the grounding contacts of the three electrical connectors projecting from same sides of the housings, the contacting portions of the contacts of the middle electrical connector projecting from the other side of associated housing. Each terminal engages with the contacting portion of a corresponding contact. In assembly, a grounding terminal, and the terminals for the top and bottom electrical connectors are mounted at a side of the receptacle electrical connector assembly, and the terminals for the middle electrical connector are mounted at the other side thereof.

The product lens cap includes the lens part and the hollow main part, which is adapted for receiving optoelectronic components. The formed lens part includes a ball lens (30) and a sprue filling portion (31). The main part defines an opening (23), which includes a ball lens receiving hole (231) and a sprue (232). During the insert molding part of the process, the melted lens part material is injected through an injection hole (53) into the sprue, and then flows into the ball lens receiving hole, assuring good optical quality of the ball lens.

    摘要: An optical transceiver module comprises a base (1), a pair of metallic releasable latches (4) attached to opposite lateral sides of the base, and a housing. The housing includes an upper housing (71) and a lower housing (72), which are mounted to an upper side and a lower side of the base respectively. Each latch includes a retention portion (41), and a spring portion (42) bent generally perpendicularly from an outer end of the retention portion. The retention portions of the latches are inserted into receiving grooves (17) defined in side walls (14, 15) of the base. The spring portions of the latches sit on the side steps (152) of the base. The upper housing electrically engages with rear parts of the spring portions. Any electrostatic charge that develops on the upper and lower housings is dissipated to external ground via the latches.

    摘要: A lens cap (40) for a transistor outline package includes a lens part (3) and a hollow main part (2) adapted for receiving optoelectronic components. The lens part includes a ball lens (30) having a first groove (27) and a sprue filling portion (31) having a second groove (25). The main part defines an opening (23) which comprises a ball lens receiving hole (231) and a sprue (232). A protruding sidestep (24) is formed along an inner surface of the sprue. The lens part is firmly coupled to the main part through engagement of the protruding sidestep with the second groove and a circular rim (26) of the main part with the first groove. The lens cap is manufactured by insert molding the lens part in the opening, with an injection hole (53) feeding into the sprue. Thus, gluing is avoided, and the ball lens optics are consistently good.
