Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to gut microbes resistant against infectious diseases and uses thereof. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to microbes resistant against infectious diseases, which provide a preventive or therapeutic effect on infectious diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms and relates to uses of the gut microbes. The gut microbes resistant are characterized in that they are selected from the group consisting of Oribacterium species JBO3-101 (accession number KACC 81250BP) and Ruminococcus species JBR5-501 (accession number KACC 81249BP). The gut microbes according to the present disclosure have the effect of rendering the host resistant to infectious diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms when the microbes are ingested.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to: oral nanoparticles for enabling oral administration of a bioactive compound which is typically administered by injection due to having low bioavailability attributable to issues with solubility, disintegration in the digestive tract, and intestinal permeability; a method of formulating the oral nanoparticles; and a use of the oral nanoparticles. In addition, the present invention relates to: oral nanoparticles capable of maintaining or protecting the balance in the gut microbiome by minimizing the exposure of the gut microbiome to a bioactive compound; a formulation; and a use of same.
Abstract:
A system for a user authentication includes an odor sensor unit for sensing an odor of a user's body to generate an odor biometric information vector, and a learning unit for performing an initial learning using the odor biometric information vector to generate a comparative odor biometric information vector. An authentication unit performs the user authentication by comparing an odor biometric information vector of the user's body to be authenticated from the odor sensor unit with the comparative biometric information vector if the user authentication is required. The authentication unit further performs an incremental learning of the comparative odor biometric information vector using the odor biometric information vector used in the authentication to create an incrementally learned odor biometric information vector. The comparative odor biometric information vector is updated with the incrementally learned odor biometric information vector.
Abstract:
Provided are a refrigerator and a refrigerator shelf apparatus configured with a shelf detachably mounted to a drive unit, and the drive unit capable of driving the shelf upward and downward according to electronic controlling by a controller provided on the shelf.
Abstract:
A user manual supporting method for use in an electronic appliance includes converting a series of operations performed by the user to operate the electronic appliance and converting the operations into a pattern of user operation sequence, and checking if an error is present in the pattern of user operation sequence to retrieve a pattern of erroneous operation sequence corresponding to the pattern of user operation sequence having the error. Thereafter, a manual content associated with the pattern of erroneous operation pattern is extracted and the extracted manual content is provided to the user. The manual content the manual content includes text and/or graphics information for notifying the user of a missing operation in the pattern of user operation sequence, or for guiding a normal operation against the pattern of erroneous operation sequence.
Abstract:
The embodiment relates to a refrigerator. The refrigerator according to one embodiment includes: a cabinet in which a storage chamber is formed; a door that is connected to the cabinet and opens and closes the storage chamber; a receiving member that is mounted in the door and receives foods; a guide unit that guides an up and down movement of the receiving member in a state where the receiving member is mounted in the door; and a fixing unit that fixes a position at which the receiving member is moved.
Abstract:
A system capable of detecting and tracking a topic based on an opinion and a social influencer for each topic and a method thereof are provided. The system that detects and tracks the topic based on the opinion and the social influencer for each topic includes: a topic opinion analysis apparatus configured to extract an opinion for each topic from content on the Internet to generate a topic-opinion database (DB), and to extract a social influencer among social members ranked based on behavior characteristics to generate a topic-social influencer DB; a knowledge DB configured to store the topic-opinion DB and the topic-social influencer DB; and a topic detecting and tracking apparatus configured to detect an opinion on a designated topic requested to be searched based on the knowledge DB, search the social influencer of the designated topic, and collect and analyze content provided or generated by the searched social influencer.
Abstract:
An encryption/decryption apparatus and method using an advanced encryption standard (AES) Rijndael algorithm are provided. The apparatus includes a round key operator that performs arithmetic operations on a round key for a first round and first partial round keys of round keys for second to last rounds and generates the round keys for the second to last rounds, and a round executor that performs an encryption or decryption operation using the round key for the first round and the round keys for the second to last rounds.
Abstract:
A refrigerator is provided to prevent sustaining of injuries by users, and which is capable of being hygienically used. The refrigerator prevents users sustaining injuries from inadvertently bumping into a dispenser or a tray when passing by the refrigerator.
