Abstract: The invention relates to a process for coal conversion, optionally in co-processing with other feedstocks, notably of the biomass type, comprising at least one liquefaction step, followed by a fixed-bed hydrocracking step and a catalytic reforming step. With this process, aromatic compounds can be obtained from a feedstock containing coal.
