Abstract: A system and a method for detecting tool status of a machine tool equipped with a controller and cutting tools are provided. The method includes the steps of: receiving a plurality of manufacturing signals; processing data from the manufacturing signals to organized information; selecting target features characterizing less noise, high effectiveness, and low multicollinearity from the organized information; fitting a classification model using tool status information with the organized information and the target features; obtaining tool status levels by using the classification model; and outputting tool treatments corresponding to the tool status levels.

Abstract: A processing path generation method, a computer programming product, and a processing path generation system are provided. The processing path generation method includes the following steps. A boundary of a processing area is obtained. The boundary of the processing area is equidistantly retracted at least once to obtain a plurality of first paths. The first paths are evenly distributed across the processing area. It is confirmed whether overlapping ones are present among the first paths, and if so, the overlapping ones are integrated into a second path. It is confirmed whether concentric closed loops are present among the first paths, and if so, the concentric closed loops are integrated in to a spiral third path. The second path and the third path are connected into a final path.

Abstract: A method for capturing a tool path, applicable to a machine tool having a controller and furnished with a tooling, includes the steps of: obtaining a data update frequency of the controller; calculating a feed rate of the controller, determining whether or not the feed rate is obtained, going to next step if positive, and going to the previous step if negative; reading G-codes of the controller to confirm the feed rate; and, based on the confirmed feed rate, recording machine coordinates transmitted from the controller for synthesizing a tool path file. The tool path file is used for simulation and analysis of machining of the machine tool. In addition, a device for capturing the tool path is also provided.
