Abstract: A wireless communication device for communicating across a wireless communication channel includes a memory storing instructions and one or more processors coupled to the memory to execute the instructions stored in the memory. The instructions are configured to determine a plurality of channel estimation measurements corresponding to a plurality of PPDUs received from an additional wireless communication device; determine a plurality of position measurements using information about the transmission of the plurality of PPDUs, wherein the position measurement is a position of the additional wireless communication device relative to the wireless communication device; select a subset of the plurality of channel estimation measurements based on the plurality of position measurements; and determine a change in a state of the wireless communication channel based on the selected subset of the plurality of channel estimation measurements.

Abstract: Provided herein is a method and apparatus for transmit parameter indication in support of Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) sensing. The disclosure provides an apparatus, comprising: a Radio Frequency (RF) interface; and processor circuitry coupled with the RF interface, wherein the processor circuitry is to: decode an Information Element (IE) received from a WLAN device via the RF interface, wherein the IE is to indicate a transmit parameter for a transmission of a Physical layer Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) of the WLAN device; and perform WLAN sensing on the WLAN device based on the IE. Abstract: Embodiments of a station (STA) and method for communication in accordance with phase noise compensation are generally described herein. The STA may determine, based at least partly on one or more operational parameters, whether to perform phase noise compensation of data symbols of a received protocol data unit (PDU). For instance, the STA may compare the operational parameters with one or more thresholds. The STA may further determine a method of phase noise compensation based at least partly on one or more operational parameters. As an example, the STA may determine a type of interpolation to be used for an interpolation of phase noise estimates of pilot symbols to determine phase noise estimates of data symbols. Example operational parameters may include a signal quality metric, a carrier frequency offset (CFO) measurement and/or modulation and coding scheme (MCS).

Abstract: Sector sweeps are described for establishing two-way data communications with directional antennas. Some examples receive a sequence of base station transmit sector sweep signals from a base station (BS) at the UE, each signal being transmitted to a different transmit sector from a multiple antenna array of the BS, select a best transmitted signal at the UE from among the received signals, send a sequence of UE transmit sector sweep signals to the base station from the UE, each signal being transmitted to a different transmit sector from a multiple antenna array of the UE, send an identification of the selected best base station transmit sector sweep signal to the base station, receive an identification of a selected best UE transmit sector sweep signal from the base station, and send data to the BS using the identified best UE transmit sector.
