Abstract: Methods and apparatus for on-package accelerator complex (AC) for integrating accelerator and IOs for scalable RAN and edge cloud solutions. The AC comprises one or more dies including an IO interface tile that is coupled to multiple intellectual property (IP) blocks that may be integrated on the same die as the IO interface tile or separate dies that are coupled to the IO interface tile via die-to-die or chiplet-to-chiplet interconnects. The IP blocks may include a network interface (e.g., Ethernet) and one or more accelerators. The package further includes a central processing unit (CPU) that is coupled to the AC via a die-to-die or chiplet-to-chiplet interconnect. The IO interface tile includes integrated shared scratchpad memory that is shared among the IP blocks and the CPU cores. The IO interface tile further includes an interface controller for scheduling IP blocks and configuring data transfers between the IP blocks, such as used by a RAN pipeline.

Abstract: A transmitter for chip to chip communication may include a modulator and a transmit frequency converter. The modulator may modulate a first received signal according to a first modulation scheme. The modulator may also modulate a second received signal according to a second modulation scheme. The transmit frequency converter may center the first received signal on a first frequency that does not comprise a phase within a radio frequency (RF) domain to generate a first centered signal. The transmit frequency converter may also center the second received signal on a second frequency that comprises a phase within the frequency band to generate a second centered signal. The second centered signal may be orthogonal to the first centered signal. A frequency gap may be positioned between the first centered signal and the second centered signal within the frequency band.

Abstract: Embodiments of a station (STA) and method for communication in accordance with phase noise compensation are generally described herein. The STA may determine, based at least partly on one or more operational parameters, whether to perform phase noise compensation of data symbols of a received protocol data unit (PDU). For instance, the STA may compare the operational parameters with one or more thresholds. The STA may further determine a method of phase noise compensation based at least partly on one or more operational parameters. As an example, the STA may determine a type of interpolation to be used for an interpolation of phase noise estimates of pilot symbols to determine phase noise estimates of data symbols. Example operational parameters may include a signal quality metric, a carrier frequency offset (CFO) measurement and/or modulation and coding scheme (MCS).
