Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to an apparatus, method and other techniques to communicate configuration information during a neighbor aware network (NAN) discovery window to establish a fine timing measurement (FTM) procedure with one or more stations, the configuration information comprising at least one of a channel, a FTM start time, and an ordered list of the one or more stations, and perform the FTM procedure with the one or more other stations by communicating information in one or more FTM frames during a burst period.
