An apparatus of embodiments, as described herein, includes one or more processors to compare a current input value associated with a layer of a plurality of layers of a neural network to a cached input value associated with the layer. The one or more processors are further to import the cached input value for the layer for further processing within the neural network, if the current input value and the cached input value are equal.

摘要: Aspects of the embodiments are directed to a data transmission receiver that includes a neural network circuit for resolving a received bit value. The data transmission receiver can be coupled to a data transmitter by a high speed data link. The neural network circuit can sample a bit value at multiple locations across the bit's unit interval. The neural network circuit can also sample bit values for neighboring bits to the interested bit at multiple sampling locations across unit intervals for the neighboring bits. The neural network circuit can determine the value of the interested bit from the samples of the waveform.

An example of a computing device with a virtual touch screen includes a projector to project a user interface image onto a touch surface, and a depth camera to generate a depth image representing objects in a vicinity of the user interface image, and a touch mask generator. The computing device also includes a touch detection module to analyze the touch mask to detect touch events. The touch detection module is configured to identify a finger in the touch mask, identify a centroid region of the finger and compute a distance of the centroid region from a touch surface, and compare the distance to a threshold distance to identify a touch event.

摘要: Techniques are provided for spatial audio streaming using adaptive bitrate encoding and decoding in bandwidth limited virtual reality applications. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes calculating weight factors for audio channels associated with each of a plurality of microphones. The weight factors are based on the position and head angle, relative to the microphones, of a user wearing a head mounted display (HMD). The method also includes encoding and decoding the audio channels, for transmission to the HMD, at a selected bitrate, the bitrate based on the weight factor for the audio channel. The method further includes applying an adaptive gain compensation to each of the received and decoded audio channels, the gain compensation also based on the weight factor. The method further includes mixing the resulting gain compensated channels to generate a stereo audio signal to be played through speakers of the HMD.
