Abstract:
In a fluorescent display device utilizing a fluorescent display tube containing a plurality of fluorescent segment electrodes, a control electrode and a heater electrode, there are provided a source with its negative pole connected to one terminal of the heater electrode, a decoder with its output connected to the segment electrodes and a pattern selection switch connected between the input terminals of the decoder and the positive pole of the source. At least one diode is connected between one of the segment electrodes and the other terminal of the heater electrode and the control electrode.
Abstract:
An educational exercising machine is provided wherein a plurality of answers produce different answers for the same problem presented by a teacher, correct and erroneous answers are printed on a recording paper with different colours and the percentages of the correct answers are printed on the same recording paper. Further, 100% correct answers are displayed by a visible display means.
Abstract:
In a fluorescent electronic tube of the type wherein a layer of fluorescent substance is coated upon an anode electrode or an insulator and is excited to luminesce by electrons from a cathode electrode, there is provided an intermediate layer between the layer of fluorescent substance and the anode electrode or insulator. The intermediate layer is composed of a metallic conductor or a semiconductor material which is inert to the fluorescent substance and does not interfere with the flow of electrons.
Abstract:
A fluorescent display tube of the triode construction is provided with an insulating substrate, an anode electrode including a plurality of fluorescent anode segments adapted to form characters and embedded in the insulating substrate, a single grid electrode disposed close to the anode segments and a filament in front of the grid electrode. The grid electrode is provided with a window common to the region of a pattern formed by the plurality of fluorescent anode segments and the window is provided with an electroconductive mesh.
