摘要: This invention relates to an interference filter, especially for use in gas detection with infrared light within a chosen range, comprising at least two essentially parallel and partially reflective surfaces with a chosen distance between them thus defining a cavity delimited by the reflecting surfaces between which the light may oscillate, and wherein at least one of said surfaces is partially transparent for transmission of light to or from said cavity. The filter comprises a first transparent material having a high refractive index, e.g. silicon, positioned in at least a part of said cavity, and at least one of said reflective surfaces being divided into a three dimensional pattern with varying shift relative to its plane, thus to provide a position dependent resonance condition between them for separation of different wavelengths in the light.

摘要: A system of identifying and/or sorting of matter including an advancing device (101) for advancing the matter, a radiation emitting device (107) serving to emit radiation which is varied by the advancing matter, a detecting arrangement (103) serving to detect the varied radiation, and an analysing arrangement (106) serving to analyse the varied radiation. A spectral analyser (104) serves to detect the varied radiation in a plurality of narrow wavelength bands in the visible spectrum in order to determine the colour and/or composition of the matter. The system may also include another spectral analyser (105) operable in the invisible wavelength spectrum to analyse radiation which has been varied by the matter and is in the invisible wavelength spectrum. The system may further include a colour camera (102) and an arrangement which applies camera image interpretation to radiation which has been varied by the matter. The analysing arrangement (106) controls the operation of air valves for compressed air nozzles (109) so as to eject wanted or unwanted matter from the advancing device (101).

摘要: A new halographic method for converting one wave into another wave by means of a hologram is disclosed. This method comprises mixing an object wave with a reference wave whose wave front in the hologram plane is different from that of the actual reconstruction wave in the same plane. The phases and possibly also the amplitudes of these two wave fronts are combined in such a way that compensation is obtained for imaging errors caused by mutual inconsistencies between the wavelength ratio, the hologram scaling and the object scaling, and a displacement of the reconstructed object relative to the hologram. The reference wave and the reconstruction wave are chosen so that the converted object wave field becomes "as equal as possible" to a wave field coming from another but geometrically similar object at a different wavelength. In an example concerning seismic holography a formular for choosing a proper synthetic reference wave is given. The formula together with a computer program for acoustic wave propagation is used to compute the transmission function of a synthetic hologram, from which faithful optical reconstructions are obtained of simulated objects.
