    摘要: A polyphase image signal generating device has a latch selection to latch original polyphase image signals of a first to an N-th phase original image signal (N being a natural number of two or more), and a selector connected to the latch section. The selector selects the original polyphase image signals in a first order from the first to the N-th phase original image signal or a second order from the N-th phase to the first original image signal, to output the selected polyphase image signals. The latch section may include N latches of a first to an N-th latch where an L-th original image signal and a {N−(L−1)}-th original image signal are latched by both an L-th and a {N−(L−1)}-th latch, L being a natural number of N or less. The selector selects the L-th original image signal in response to a control signal indicating the first order, whereas the {N−(L−1)}-th original image signal in response to another control signal indicating the second order.

    摘要: In a color image display apparatus, light beams intensity modulated by a green color image signal are deflected by an ocillating mirror, and then focused on a photo-conductive layer (PCL) member of a light-written type spacial light modulation element (SLM) through two focusing lenses for light write operation. Light beams intensity modulated by a time-axis compressed time-divisional image signal of two remaining colors (red and blue) are deflected by another mirror oscillated simultaneously with the ocillating mirror, and then focused on a PCL member of a SLM of the same type through two focusing lenses for light write operation. A read light beam is resolved into the light of the green wave length band and the lights of red and blue wave length bands, respectively, and then given to the SLMs, respectively for light read operation. The two read light beams reflected by the SLMs are synthesizing, and then projected on a screen through a common projection lens.

    摘要: A liquid-crystal display apparatus includes a layer of liquid crystal. A matrix array is composed of scanning electrodes and signal electrodes. The scanning electrodes extend along a matrix row direction. The signal electrodes extend along a matrix column direction. Switching circuit elements are located at respective places where the scanning electrodes intersect with the signal electrodes. Pixel electrodes connected to the switching circuit elements are operative for controlling portions of the liquid-crystal layer respectively. A first device is operative for driving the scanning electrodes. A second device is operative for delaying a first video signal into a second video signal. A third device is operative for alternately selecting one out of the first video signal and the second video signal to generate a third video signal in response to the first video signal and the second video signal. A fourth device is operative for periodically inverting a polarity of the third video signal at a timing synchronous with alternately selecting by the third device to convert the third video signal into a fourth video signal. A fifth device is operative for feeding the fourth video signal to the signal electrodes.

    摘要: A drive apparatus for an optical element array includes a counter counting clock pulses and being periodically reset at a horizontal scanning period. The counter outputs first and second counter signals out of phase with each other. A latch holds a pixel-corresponding segment of an input image signal. One of clock signals out of phase with each other is selected in response to the pixel-corresponding input-signal segment held by the latch. A first comparator compares the first counter signal and the pixel-corresponding input-signal segment held by the latch, and outputs a first identity signal when the first counter signal and the pixel-corresponding input-signal segment are equal to each other. A second comparator compares the second counter signal and the pixel-corresponding input-signal segment held by the latch, and outputs a second identity signal when the second counter signal and the pixel-corresponding input-signal segment are equal to each other. A drive pulse is generated which starts in synchronism with a start of a horizontal scanning period and which ends in response to the selected clock signal and in response to the first and second identity signals. An optical element in the array is driven in response to the drive pulse.

    摘要: In a color imaging apparatus, an optical image is focused on a photoelectrical conversion target of a color image pickup tube through a color stripe filter having a plurality of successively arranged recurrent groups of different color stripes and converted to an electrostatic image which is scanned in rectangular raster form by an electron beam to generate a luminance signal and a color-multiplexed video signal. The leading and trailing edges of the luminance signal are detected by an edge detector to generate a control signal having first and second polarities in response to the detection of the leading and trailing edges, respectively. The color multiplexed signal is phase-controlled with respect to the leading and trailing edges of the luminance signal in accordance with the control signal by a variable delay line or by a pair of beam deflection plates.

    摘要: A projection display apparatus has a beam controller provided on the optical axis of an optically-modulated linearly-polarized beam, to allow the beam to travel therethrough to reach a screen or cut off the beam, under control by a control signal. The controller, has driving zones on which the beam is incident. The zones are provided in a direction corresponding to a vertical scanning direction of pixels of a liquid crystal display device installed in the display apparatus, for optically modulating a linearly polarized beam. The controller is driven per driving zone in a specific zone order at a timing of vertical scanning of the pixels under control by the control signal generated based on a vertical synchronization signal detected from the input signal. The optically modulated beam is allowed to travel through the controller or cut off when incident on the zones at the timing of the vertical scanning.

The radiated beam is deflected straight along a surface of the photoconductive member to form a charge image composed of electric charges having an electric charge quantity corresponding to the information, as arranged in a straight line in a region on a border between the photoconductive member and dielectric mirror, corresponding to a region of the photoconductive member to which the beam is radiated. A two-dimensional bundle of electro-magnetic radiation beams of constant intensity and covering the region on the border is radiated to the recording medium at the photo-modulation member side thereof to take out a two-dimensional bundle of electro-magnetic radiation beams exhibiting intensity variation subjected to the charge image due to the photoelectric effect from the recording medium.
