摘要： The present invention relates to a handover method for a mobile communication system. The handover method according to the present invention informs a current state to a serving base station(BS) when a re-entry process has been delayed or a handover has failed due to an error occurred in the handover procedure during handover, and receives from the serving BS a status information response message containing available interval and unavailable interval reset information and link disconnection time reset information for extending the link disconnection time. So, the present invention minimizes or prevents a handover delay or extend a link disconnection time with the serving BS, thereby allowing a terminal to receive a continuous service even during the handover procedure.

摘要： The present invention relates to a handover method for a mobile communication system. The handover method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving from a serving base station a handover command message, the handover command message containing target base station information, information on an available interval enabling data transmission/reception to/from the serving base station during handover, information on an unavailable interval not enabling data transmission/reception during handover, and information on the time of disconnection of a link connected to the serving base station; performing a network entry process with the target base station; transmitting status information to the serving base station when an error has occurred in the network entry process; receiving from the serving base station a status information response message containing available interval and unavailable interval reset information and link disconnection time reset information for extending the link disconnection time; enabling the serving base station to provide a data transmitting/receiving service during the available interval; and re-performing the network entry process with the target base station, and disconnecting the link to the serving base station at the reset link disconnection time.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving data in a multi-carrier communications system. The data transmission/receiving method uses multiple carriers including a primary carrier that is capable of transmitting and receiving data traffic and PHY/MAC control information between a terminal and a base station and at least one secondary carrier that transmits and receives down-link data traffic between the terminal and the base station. The method comprises: generating an MPDU (MAC Protocol Data Unit) to be sent to a PHY (Physical) layer in an MAC (Medium Access Control) layer; performing channel-coding and modulation on the MPDU to generate a modulated symbol sequence in the PHY layer; segmenting the modulated symbol sequence into multiple symbol sequences; and allocating the multiple segmented symbol sequences to multiple carriers, respectively, to perform IFFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) and transmit to a terminal, wherein control information on the multiple carriers is allocated to a control channel region of the primary carrier and transmitted via the primary carrier.

摘要： A method for a handover in a wireless access system supporting multi-carrier operation includes transmitting a handover request message to a serving base station (BS) assigning multi-carriers to the MS through a primary carrier, the multi-carriers including the primary carrier and at least one secondary carrier; receiving, from the serving BS, a handover response message including a BS list and temporary carrier information indicating one of the at least one secondary carrier as a temporary carrier; transmitting, to a target BS selected from the BS list, a ranging request message for synchronizing with the target BS through the temporary carrier while maintaining link connection with the serving BS using the multi-carriers excluding the temporary carrier; receiving, from the target BS, a ranging response message through the temporary carrier; and transmitting, to the serving BS, a handover indication message indicating completion of the handover through the primary carrier.
