    Abstract: A device is configured to determine a switching pattern comprising a first time range for activating a first plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) of a LED module and a second time range for activating a second plurality of LEDs of the LED module. The first plurality of LEDs and the second plurality of LEDs are different. The device is further configured to determine, for each LED of the first plurality of LEDs, a respective timeslot of a plurality of timeslots of the first time range. The device is further configured to output an instruction to a switching device to cause the switching device to couple each LED of the first plurality of LEDs to a supply during the respective timeslot determined for the LED.

    Abstract: This disclosure is directed to circuits for controlling voltage from a voltage source to one or more light emitting diodes. The circuit includes a first transistor comprising a power switch that is configured to define a load current path from the voltage source to the one or more light emitting diodes. The circuit also includes a second transistor, which can be controlled based on the light emitting diodes, wherein the second transistor is configured to turn off when one or more of the lights emitting diodes exhibit an electoral short. The first transistor is configured to turn off in response to the second transistor turning off so as to provide short circuit protection for the circuit.

    Abstract: A power control circuit includes an input connection, an output connection, and a current sensor configured to generate a power signal corresponding to an electrical signal delivered from a power source to a load. The power control circuit is configured to receive, from a controller via the input connection, a control signal comprising a sequence of control signal pulses occurring at a control signal frequency and generate an output signal based on the power signal, the sequence of control signal pulses, and the control signal frequency. The power control circuit is configured to deliver, via the output connection, the output signal to control a gate driver circuit to manage the power signal delivered from the power source to the load.
