摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes a display panel with a switchable viewing angle and a driving circuit for driving the display panel. The display panel can switch between wide and narrow viewing angles. The driving circuit includes a display control unit, a viewing angle control unit, a viewing angle control voltage generating circuit, and a gamma voltage generating circuit. The viewing angle control unit is connected to the display control unit, the viewing angle control voltage generating circuit and the gamma voltage generating circuit. The display control unit is used to control the display panel to realize picture display. The viewing angle control unit is used to control the display panel to switch between wide viewing angle display and narrow viewing angle display.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device includes a display panel, a display control module and a voltage output module. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate is provided with a viewing angle control electrode. In a wide viewing angle mode, the image refresh frequency of the display panel is the same as the data input frequency of the image data inputted to the display control module, and the voltage output module outputs a direct current voltage to the viewing angle control electrode. In a narrow viewing angle mode, the image refresh frequency of the display panel is twice or four times the data input frequency of the image data inputted to the display control module, and the voltage output module outputs a periodic alternating voltage to the viewing angle control electrode.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device having switchable viewing angles includes a display panel and a display control module. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate. The display control module is used for controlling the display panel to display images. The first substrate is provided with a first electrode. The second substrate is provided with a second electrode and a third electrode. The liquid crystal display device further includes a viewing angle control module. The display control module is further used to provide a synchronization signal to the viewing angle control module. According to the synchronization signal, when a next frame following a current frame on which a viewing angle switching signal is received starts to display, the viewing angle control module outputs a periodic alternating voltage for switching viewing angle to the first electrode.
