    Abstract: The present invention relates to a backlight module, a display comprising thereof and a method for manufacturing a light guiding plate. The backlight module comprising: a housing; a light guiding plate disposed in the housing, and the light guiding plate comprises a light entrance surface, a bottom surface, and a light exit surface; and a light source disposed adjacent the light entrance surface of the light guiding plate, wherein a horizontal cross section of the light exit surface of the light guiding plate has a first curve, and a vertical cross section of the light exit surface of the light guiding plate through any peak of the first curve has a second curve, wherein adjacent peaks of the first curve have a same distance therebetween, and adjacent troughs of the first curve are spaced apart by first distances.

    Abstract: A backlight module includes a light guide plate having an upper surface, a lower surface, and light-adjusting structures on the lower surface; an optical sheet disposed opposite to the upper surface of the light guide plate; and a light source disposed adjacent to the light guide plate, wherein a light emitted by the light source has a first brightness distribution in a first direction after passing through the light guide plate, and the first brightness distribution has a first maximum brightness corresponding to a first angle and a second maximum brightness corresponding to a second angle, and an absolute value of the first angle and an absolute value of the second angle are greater than 60 degrees, respectively, wherein an absolute value of a difference between the first maximum brightness and the second maximum brightness is less than or equal to 30% of the first maximum brightness.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel and a backlight module. The backlight module includes a light-emitting unit and a light guiding unit. The light guiding unit has a light input surface. The light-emitting unit has a plurality of light-emitting elements, which are disposed along a first direction and adjacent to the light input surface. A second direction is from the light input surface to the light-emitting unit. The light guiding unit includes a first protruding portion, which includes a part of the light input surface. The light input surface includes a connecting surface, which connects to the first protruding portion to form a turning portion. The turning portion is disposed between the connecting surface and the first protruding portion. The connecting surface is a planar or curved surface protruding along the second direction. The first protruding portion protrudes along the second direction and extends along the first direction.
