Abstract: Embodiments herein describe a mechanism that puts all the wake sources except a master wake source in low power state (e.g., sleep state) to reduce the overall sleep state power consumption. A Bluetooth Low Energy (BT LE) device is used as master wake source, which scans the presence of a user, and if the user (e.g., mobile device with specific media access control (MAC) address) is in the vicinity or approaching towards the system, the wake sources and memory are made active again. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed. In an example, the apparatus includes interface circuitry to communicatively couple a processor circuitry to a memory. The apparatus also includes the processor circuitry to perform at least one operation to instantiate circuitry. The circuitry includes device discovery management circuitry to discover a controllable device in audible proximity to a microphone, the microphone associated with a primary device and output sound capability determination circuitry to determine an output sound capability of the controllable device. Additionally, the circuitry includes function modification circuitry to modify a function of the controllable device to reduce the output sound capability.

Abstract: Techniques for teleconferencing with enhanced audio during low-quality connection conditions are disclosed. In the illustrative embodiment, a user of a compute device is teleconferencing with users of one or more remote compute devices. The compute device monitors a connection quality with a remote compute device. If the connection quality drops below a threshold, risking gaps in the audio data, the compute device generates speech code data that can be used to fill in the gaps in the audio data. The remote compute device can use the speech code data to augment the audio data by using a voice model to create additional audio data based on the speech code data.
