The computer executable components can comprise a performance component that assigns performance points to different nodes based on execution of one or more workload types. The computer executable components can further comprise a scheduler extender component that modifies a scheduling decision to run a workload type on a node based on the performance points.

Technology based on similarity among jobs calculated by selected characteristics for determining jobs that are likely to lead to successful performance of a requested new job by a cloud. Also, technology based on similarity among jobs calculated by selected characteristics for determining jobs that are likely to lead to failure when performing a requested new job by the cloud. When the new job request is accepted, because its characteristics of the new job matches job characteristics characterized by success and/or fails to match job characteristics characterized by failure, then the new job is said to lead to a “reward” or an “expected reward” because the new job will be rewarded by being allowed to use, by an admission controller of a cloud management system, use of cloud computing resources of the cloud.

摘要: Method and apparatus for configuring relevant parameters of MapReduce applications. The method includes: receiving a request for processing a first MapReduce job; obtaining job feature attributes of historical MapReduce jobs; searching out a job feature attribute of a second MapReduce job associated with the first MapReduce job from within the job feature attributes of the historical MapReduce jobs; configuring relevant parameters of the first MapReduce job based on the job feature attribute of the second MapReduce job. According to this method of configuring parameters, network overheads of file transfer can be effectively reduced, the method of configuring parameters of the MapReduce job can be processed locally as much as possible, thereby effectively increasing system resource utilization while reducing the administrator's configuration burden. An apparatus for configuring relevant parameters of MapReduce application is also provided.

摘要: Generation of a schema of a NoSQL type database, where a set of entry(ies) of a NoSQL type database can be determined, and the record schema is a treelike relationship between key hierarchies with a key as a node in the entry, wherein the key corresponds to an attribute name. For at least one record schema, a node in which there is an attribute name variation is determined based on a similarity of sub-nodes in the treelike relationship, and the record schema is updated according to the determined result. The schema of the NoSQL type database is generated based on the updated record schema.

The method for generating a training model based an feedback, includes calculating an eigenvector of a sample among a plurality of samples; obtaining scores granted by a user for one or more of the plurality of samples in a round, obtaining scores granted by the user for a first number of samples; obtaining scores granted by the user for a second number of samples in response to detecting, based on the eigenvector, an inconsistency between the scores granted by the user for the first number of samples; and generating a training model based on the scores granted by the user for the first and second numbers of samples. A corresponding apparatus is also provided.
