Abstract: A system for treating target tissue located at a first location along an anatomic lumen comprises a catheter including a distal end portion configured for deployment in the anatomic lumen. The system also comprises an expansion device coupled to the distal end portion of the catheter. The expansion device has an expanded size in a deployed configuration. The expansion device in the deployed configuration occludes the anatomic lumen at a second location, different from the first location, along the anatomic lumen. The expansion device also occludes at least one of a plurality of blood vessels adjacent the anatomic lumen to reduce blood flow to the target tissue at the first location.

Abstract: A system comprises an elongate instrument including a first and second channels. The system also comprises an expandable device coupled to the elongate instrument. The expandable device is in fluid communication with the first and second channels. The system also comprises a pump for circulating a fluid through the first and second channels and a heating system for heating the fluid. The system also comprises a drainage system for removing the fluid from the expandable device and restricting drainage flow. A control system controls temperature and delivery of the heated fluid through the first channel and the second channel to heat the elongate instrument and the expandable device with the heated fluid while maintaining the expandable device in an uninflated configuration, inflate the expandable device with the heated fluid, ablate an anatomic passage with the inflated and heated expandable device, and deflate the expandable device.

Abstract: A heated liquid system may comprise a catheter including a liquid delivery channel for delivery of a treatment liquid from a distal end portion of the catheter. The catheter may also include a circulation supply channel extending along the liquid delivery channel. The circulation supply channel may be configured to convey a heated liquid from a heated liquid source toward the distal end portion of the catheter. The catheter may also include a circulation return channel extending along the liquid delivery channel. The circulation return channel may be configured to convey the heated liquid from the distal end portion toward a proximal end portion of the catheter. The heated liquid may be used to maintain a temperature of the treatment liquid.

Abstract: A system may comprise a liquid source from which a liquid is delivered, and a catheter coupled to the liquid source. The catheter may include a distal portion from which the liquid is released into an anatomic lumen. The system may also include an occlusion device coupled to the catheter and configured to prevent flow of the liquid in the anatomic lumen proximally of the occlusion device. The system may also include a heating device near the distal portion of the catheter. The heating device may be configured to heat the liquid to a temperature of less than a vaporization temperature for the liquid.
