摘要： The air flow system includes a hose member having an exterior flow channel and an interior flow channel, a distal connector, a proximal connector, and a flow chamber. The air flow in the interior flow channel is separate from the exterior flow channel. Air flows from the exterior flow channel, through a flow chamber, around a treatment site of inflammation and back to the interior flow channel. The system for air circulation therapy also includes a connector to the hose member, an air pump supply in an inner chamber, and an air recovery unit in an outer chamber. The proximal connector includes a nozzle head, a tubular sleeve, a first set of slot openings, a second set of slot openings, a cover sleeve, and a locking ring. The system includes the flow chamber of a flexible polymeric material.

A thermoelectric sub-assembly is mounted to the heatsink, where the thermoelectric sub-assembly includes a solid-state thermoelectric element, a fan disposed below the solid-state thermoelectric element for circulating air within the dewar vessel, and a controller having a processor and memory. The processor executes instructions to maintain the bag of whole blood at a safe operational temperature for a period of time.

A localized hypothermia of the pancreas with a delivery and placement procedure in the stomach of a patient comprising a cooling balloon system is disclosed that can be used for the treatment of pancreatitis in a patient. The cooling balloon system can have mechanisms for affecting the pancreas without impacting or inducing hypothermia in the patient in a systemic fashion. The localized hypothermia system can have a simplified delivery system and can be intended to reduce patient discomfort while reducing the metabolic activity of the inflamed pancreas of the patient.

The invention may be administered within the body of the patient if the interior of the body is exposed during surgery.

The computer implemented method includes receiving a request for a thermal pad set recommendation from a clinician device, receiving a patient's identification from the clinician device, retrieving one or more patient parameter values from an electronic medical record for the patient, determining a pad set recommendation according to the patient parameter values in combination with a pad set correlation table, and displaying the pad set recommendation on the clinician device. Also disclosed herein is a system including a non-transitory computer-readable medium with instructions encoded thereon and one or more processors configured to, when executing the instructions, perform operations in accordance with processes of the computer implemented method.
