摘要: An elevator system caliper brake includes first and second brake levers each with a brake pad wherein the brake levers move the brake pads relative to one another along an actuation axis. The first brake lever is rotatably mounted at a stationary first mounting point at a housing of the brake, and the second brake lever is rotatably mounted at a second mounting point on an intermediate lever that is rotatably mounted at the brake housing. A tension element can be moved approximately parallel to an actuation axis and is connected to the brake levers at mounting points between the respective brake pads and the brake lever mounting points. A closing spring moves the first and second brake levers to decrease the distance between the brake pads and a linear spindle drive connected to the intermediate lever selectively counteracts the closing spring to increase the distance between the brake pads.

摘要: A brake device for an elevator system generates a friction grip on an elevator rail and includes two legs with brake ends. The first leg is connected to a first articulation point of a transmission lever that has, located at a distance in a longitudinal direction from the first articulation point, a second articulation point that is connected to a first pivot of a pressure lever. The second leg is connected to a second pivot of the pressure lever. A third pivot of the pressure lever is connected to an articulation point of an actuating element (crank rod) whereby a longitudinal movement of the actuating element moves the brake device between a braking position with the brake ends spaced apart a minimum distance, and an opened position with the brake ends spaced apart a maximum distance. The actuating element longitudinal movement is predefined by first and second end points.

摘要: An elevator drive for use in a counterweight-less elevator installation includes a motor driving a traction sheave in engagement with an elongate load bearing member supporting an elevator car, and a pressure applicator exerting a normal force on the elongate load bearing member as the member engages with the traction sheave. One of the traction sheave and the pressure applicator is displaceable relative to the other. Accordingly, in use, the normal force imparted by the pressure applicator on the elongate load bearing member can be varied to improve the longevity of the elongate load bearing member.

摘要: An elevator car has a brake system with braking devices engaging braking webs integrated into guide rails to brake the car. The braking devices include a brake housing, a first brake body movable by contact with the braking web and relative movement between the braking web and the brake housing to clamp the brake web, and a pusher arranged on the brake housing with the braking web arranged between the first brake body and the pusher with a required passage clearance. The pusher can be advanced toward the first brake body and pressed against the braking web to forcibly bring the first brake body into contact with the braking web. A pressing lever pivotally mounted on the brake housing acts to press the pusher against the braking web.

摘要: A cable brake includes a pair of brake shoes having braking surfaces facing one another and between which a brake cable is guided. A first brake shoe is movable between a braking position, pressing the cable against the braking surface of the other brake shoe, and a release position, releasing the cable between the brake shoes. A releasable retaining device retains the first brake shoe in the release position, and/or a reset device switches the first brake shoe from the braking position to the release position. Two rotatably mounted pivot arms connected to the first brake shoe are arranged in a parallelogram with one side oriented in parallel with the cable guidance direction. A switchable electromagnet of the retaining device holds the first brake shoe in the release position. The brake shoes, pivot arms, retaining device and reset device are arranged in a housing connected to an elevator car.

摘要: An elevator system includes first and second elevator cars movable vertically in a first elevator shaft, a closed support belt routed around lower and upper deflection rollers, a drive machine driving the support belt, and an actuable coupling device arranged on each of the first and second elevator cars. The support belt has first and second coupling elements to and from which the coupling devices can be coupled and decoupled whereby a drive connection between the respective elevator car and the support belt can be established and released. A coupled elevator car is moved in the first elevator shaft by the support belt driven by the drive machine. The coupling elements are arranged such that they are not routed around the deflection rollers during movement of the first elevator car from a lower end position to an upper end position or vice versa.
