摘要: This disclosure relates to an electromagnetic brake configured to slow a deceleration rate of a passenger conveyer, such as an elevator car, during braking. In particular, this disclosure relates to a passenger conveyer system including the electromagnetic brake and a corresponding method. An example system includes a controller and an electromagnetic brake. The electromagnetic brake includes a disc configured to interface with a drive shaft, a spring, and a plate biased in a first direction into engagement with the disc by a bias force of the spring. The electromagnetic brake further includes an electromagnet selectively activated in response to a command from the controller to produce a magnetic field attracting the plate in a second direction opposite the first direction to partially offset the bias force of the spring. Further, when the electromagnet is activated, the plate engages the disc.

摘要: A method for adapting an elevator system counterweight coupled to an elevator car involves: generating electric motor control commands to move the car from first to second positions in first and third test runs and from the second to first positions in second and fourth test runs, the car being loaded with a weight only in the third and fourth test runs; receiving during the car movement motor current flow measurement data and car height measurement data relative to the first and/or second positions in successive time steps in each test run; calculating at least one calibration function parameter defining a relationship between the current, the height and the weight using the current and height measurement data in the to obtain at least one calibration value; and calculating an adaptation value for adapting the counterweight to be in equilibrium with the car using the at least one calibration value.

摘要: An elevator system includes an elevator car movable in an elevator shaft, a suspension means extending in the elevator shaft, a drive machine associated with the suspension means and a controllable coupling device arranged on the elevator car. The suspension means has a coupling element that the coupling device can be coupled to and uncoupled from, as a result of which a drive connection between the elevator car and the suspension means can be established and released. The elevator system has a guide system guiding the coupling element during a movement in the elevator shaft. The guide system has a guide that is stationary relative to the elevator shaft and a runner that is connected to the coupling element via a connection and is guided along the guide. The connection between the coupling element and the runner enables a relative movement between the runner and coupling element.

At least one linear actuator is coupled with the first elevator cab and the second elevator cab. The linear actuator is configured to selectively cause movement of the elevator cabs relative to the H frame.

An elevator system includes a hoistway, an elevator car located in the hoistway and movable therein, and a belt operably connected to the elevator car to suspend and/or drive the elevator car along the hoistway. The belt includes one or more tension members arranged along a belt width and extending longitudinally along a length of the belt, each tension member including a plurality of fibers extending along the belt length. A jacket material at least partially encapsulates the plurality of tension members.
