摘要: A cable-braking apparatus includes a main body unit at which a main cable is positioned, a drive unit provided at the main body unit so as to generate a drive force, an elastic compression unit configured to compress or release the main elastic element using the drive force generated by the drive unit, a press unit actuated by the elastic compression unit so as to move a press plate thereof to thus press the main cable, and a movement control unit configured to lock or release an anchor pin to thus control movement of the press unit. The main elastic elements are compressed and released by the action of the gear train and the clutch, thereby offering an effect of preventing malfunctions.

摘要: Embodiments herein are directed to an elevator counterweight governor assembly for an elevator assembly. The elevator counterweight governor assembly includes a swing arm, a first pulley assembly, a second pulley assembly, a third pulley assembly, and a braking assembly. The swing arm is pivotally coupled to the at least one inner beam at one end. The swing arm is configured to pivot between a disengaged position and an engaged position. The braking assembly is configured to move between an unactivated state where the braking assembly is free from the fixed member and an activated state where the braking assembly engages with the fixed member to inhibit movement of the counterweight frame. When the swing arm is in the disengaged position, the braking assembly is in the unactivated state and when the swing arm is in the engaged position, the braking assembly is in the activated state.

According to the invention, a braking system having the full braking force or a braking force adapted to the operating parameters and a subsequent control of the deceleration on the basis of an acceleration measurement with stepped reduction of the braking force are proposed.
The control is designed such that the deceleration of the car is always within predefined threshold values, which applies independently of the direction of travel of the lift car, independently of the drive system of the lift used, and independently of the car loading and of the friction coefficient between the brake lining and the guide rail.-

摘要: A frictionless safety brake actuator, for use in an elevator system, includes at least two stators; a magnet array positioned between the stators; a linkage attached to the magnet array; and a biasing arrangement. The linkage is actuatable to move a safety brake into frictional engagement with an elevator guide rail. The magnet array is moveable between a first position in which the linkage is actuated and a second position in which the linkage is not actuated. The biasing arrangement is arranged to bias the magnet array towards the first position. The magnet array includes a first magnet set and a second magnet set which comprise at least one magnet each and at least three magnets in total. The magnet(s) of the first magnet set is/are arranged alternately with the magnet(s) of the second magnet set in a stack.

摘要: An elevator includes a car, a counterweight, and a hoisting member connecting the car with the counterweight over a traction sheave. A free fall protection system includes a free fall protection controller, a free fall protection member connecting the car with the counterweight over the traction sheave or over a separate free fall sheave. The car and the counterweight are supported by the hoisting member in normal operation and by the free fall protection member only in a situation in which the hoisting member support fails. At least one free fall protection brake is arranged to stop the movement of the free fall protection member and thereby also the movement of the car and/or the counterweight, when being activated by the free fall protection controller.

摘要: A braking mechanism for an electric motor includes an electromagnet configured to be selectively energized in response to a control signal. The braking mechanism also includes a first braking member coupled for co-rotation with an output shaft of the electric motor. The first braking member is configured to movable relative to the output shaft between a first position and a second position. The braking mechanism also includes a second braking member rotationally fixed relative to the first braking member. When the electromagnet is energized, the electromagnet causes the first braking member to move from the first position to the second position. The first braking member engages the second braking member to brake the electric motor in one of the first position or the second position.
