Abstract: A work assistance system includes: a display unit having portability and configured to display information provided to the worker; a recognition unit configured to recognize a processing apparatus assumed to be viewed by the worker; and a display controller configured to control a content of information to be displayed on the display unit, and when it is determined that one processing apparatus is recognized by the recognition unit, the display controller displays information on the processing apparatus recognized by the recognition unit, and when it is determined that two or more processing apparatuses are recognized by the recognition unit, the display controller displays information on the production line including the processing apparatuses recognized by the recognition unit on the display unit.
