摘要： Silver halide photographic element comprising a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer, characterised in that said silver halide emulsion layer is spectrally sensitized to infrared radiation with a tricarbocyanine dye having the formula: ##STR1## wherein, Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 each independently represents the atoms necessary to complete a thiazole nucleus or an oxazole nucleus,Z.sub.3 represents the atoms necessary to complete a 5-membered N-containing aromatic ring, Q represents the atoms necessary to complete a 5- or 6-membered carbocyclic ring, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each independently represents an alkyl group, X.sup.- represents an anion, and n represents an integer of 1 to 2, provided that n is 1 when the dye forms an intramolecular salt.

摘要： A multilayer silver halide color photographic element comprises a support having coated thereon a silver antihalation layer, an interlayer, at least two red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, at least two green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers a yellow filter layer, and at least two blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, wherein a silver halide emulsion layer or a nonsensitive layer adjacent thereto comprises a bleach accelerator releasing coupler of formulaA-(TIME).sub.n -S-X-Rwherein A represents a coupler residue releasing from (TIME).sub.n -S-X-R upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; TIME represents a timing group releasing S-X-R with delay under developing conditions; n represents 0 or 1; X represents a divalent linking groups consisting of an alkylene group containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and R represents a group selected in the group consisting of a), b) and c): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents hydrogen or a monovalent chemical group, n represents 0 or 1, Z represents the atoms necessary to complete a 5- or 6-membered ring or a fused ring, and R.sub.2 and R.sub.4, equal or different, each represents hydrogen, an alkyl group, an aryl group, --SO.sub.2 R.sub.4 or --COR.sub.4, wherein R.sub.4 represents an alkyl group or an aryl group. The invention provides reduction in residual silver levels after processing, without deleteriously affecting sensitometric properties and color reproduction performance of the photographic element.

摘要： A multilayer silver halide color photographic element comprises a support having coated thereon a silver antihalation layer, an interlayer, at least two red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, at least two green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers a yellow filter layer, and at least two blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, wherein the interlayer provided between the silver antihalation layer and the red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer closest to the support contains a bleach accelerator releasing compound, and the silver antihalation layer contains a water-soluble organic thiol. The invention provides reduction in residual silver levels and backside turbidity after processing, without deleteriously affecting sensitometric properties of the photographic element.

摘要： Photographic elements are disclosed having on a support a silver halide emulsion layer sensitive to radiation other than blue light in addition to its intrinsic sensitivity to blue region, and a yellow filter layer between the silver halide emulsion layers and the source of exposure, the yellow filter layer containing a yellow filter dye represented by the structural formula: ##STR1## wherein: R is hydrogen, alkyl group or aryl group;R.sub.1 is aryl group or heterocyclic group;X is O or N--R.sub.2 where R.sub.2 is hydrogen or alkyl group;Y is N--R.sub.3 where R.sub.3 is hydrogen or alkyl group;n is 0 or 1;Z is hydrogen, alkyl group or aryl group;W is hydrogen, or W and Z, taken together, represent the atoms necessary to form an aryl group.In particular, multilayer color photographic elements are disclosed having thereon a support base, in order from the support, red-, green-, and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers respectively associated with non-diffusing cyan, magenta and yellow dye-forming couplers, wherein a yellow filter layer containing the yellow filter dyes of the above structural formula is positioned below the blue-sensitive layer(s) and above the green-sensitive layer(s) and the red-sensitive layer(s).The photographic elements herein disclosed provide yellow filter layers which have the required spectral absorption characteristics, are easily bleached during photographic processing steps, and do not suffer from stain problems after processing and incubative aging.

摘要： Light-sensitive silver halide photographic element comprising a support bearing at least a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least a protective layer being further away from the support than every silver halide emulsion layer, said protective layer containing a gelatin having a viscosity lower than 20 milliPascal per seconds in 10 weight % aqueous solution at 40.degree.
