    摘要: A system for electromagnetically activating the shutter of a camera to provide different aperture openings by providing: an armature comprising a core and a coil, the core is capable of receiving current and the armature will produce a first magnetic field; a movable magnet that produces a second magnetic field, the magnet is positioned within the core in a manner that a first gap, a second gap, a third gap, a fourth gap, a fifth gap, a sixth gap, a seventh gap and a eighth gap will contiguously surround the magnet and be present between the core and the magnet so that the second magnetic field is coupled to the first magnetic field and the magnet is coupled to the shutter; and means coupled to the current means and the coil for setting the direction of current flow in the coil to a first direction or a second direction or for denying the presence of current flow in the coil so that when the coil receives no current a first magnetic field will not be present and the magnet will be at a first location and move the shutter to block the aperture and allow no light to enter the camera, and when current flow through the coil in a first direction the magnet will be attracted by the first magnetic field and move to a second location and move the shutter to form a first aperture size and if current flows through the coil in a second direction the magnet will be attracted by the first magnetic field and move to a third location and move the shutter to form a second aperture size.

    摘要: An electrical switch assembly has a pair of conducting resilient domes which snap inwardly to produce corresponding switching functions when downward pressure is applied at their respective centers and snap outwardly to produce opposite switching functions when the applied pressure is removed. The pair of domes are supported one within the other in spaced relation with their respective centers substantially in alignment. Pressure applying means, such as a push button, is mounted for movement in line with the aligned centers of the outer and inner domes to a first predetermined position to snap the outer dome inwardly and to a second predetermined position to snap the inner dome inwardly. The successive snapping actions of the two domes to produce corresponding switching functions provide respective stages of tactile feedback through the push button to the operator.

    摘要: A shutter for a camera having a film exposure opening comprising a shutter curtain movably mounted in the camera for opening and closing the exposure opening, an electromagnetic driver operatively coupled to the shutter curtain for moving the curtain between open and closed positions when the driver is energized to cause movement in one direction, and a first physical stop associated with the electromagnetic driver for physically holding the driver against further movement in the one direction when the curtain reaches one of the open or closed positions. When the electromagnetic driver is energized to cause movement in an opposite direction, a second physical stop associated with the driver and spaced from the first stop physically holds the driver against further movement in the opposite direction when the curtain reaches the other of the open or closed positions. In a focal plane shutter having first and second shutter curtains movably mounted in the camera for opening and closing the film exposure opening, there is provided first and second of the aforesaid electromagnetic drivers operatively coupled to the first and second curtains, respectively, for moving the curtains between open and closed positions when the respective drivers are energized, and each of the electromagnetic drivers is provided with the aforesaid first and second physical stops for physically holding the associated drivers against further movement when the corresponding shutter curtains reach open or closed positions in accordance with the direction of energization of respective drivers.
