摘要： An electrical receptacle mountable on and positionable within a substrate has an electrically conductive element that includes a conductive member with deformable electrical leads extending therefrom. The deformable electrical leads have first and second portions with the first portion extending outward from the conductive member and the second portion being adjacent to and approximately parallel with the conductive member. A body of electrically insulating material encapsulates the conductive member about the exterior surface of the conductor with the electrically insulating material having an exterior surface on which is formed support ribs and alignment ribs with the support ribs providing initial support for the electrical receptacle over an aperture formed in the substrate and the alignment ribs providing positioning alignment of the electrical receptacle within the aperture of the substrate. The conductive member may be an elongated tubular shaped conductor or a coaxially disposed, longitudinally split or laterally split conductor suitable for use in a banana type receptacle.

摘要： A facility for mounting an electronic component includes a first circuit board having of mounting apertures. A mounting element is associate with each aperture, and includes a boss defining a bore. The boss has a first surface contacting a major surface of the first circuit board, and a second surface opposite the first surface. A pin is received in the bore, and has a lower portion protruding from the first surface of the boss and into one of the apertures. The pins lower portion definves a spece to capture a portion of the first circuit board. A fastener connected to the pin may generate compression between the spece and the boss to secure the board, and a corner-shaped protrusion on the second surface may constrain the corner periphery of a second board resting on the second surface, with the fastener also securing the second board against the boss.

摘要： A multi-channel signal acquisition probe has a ribbon cable with ganged coaxial signal cables. The coaxial signal cables are separated into individual cables at one end of the ribbon cable. A junction box is mounted the ribbon cable with the individual cables extending through apertures in a front face of the junction box. An electrically conductive terminal is disposed in the junction box and extends into openings in opposing sides of the junction box. The electrically conductive terminal is electrically coupled to each outer shielding conductor of the signal cables. The free ends of each of the individual signal cables has a probing head. A terminal connector is disposed on the other end of the ribbon cable.

The printer head shuttles include a shuttle guide and a shuttle main body having one or more printer head assemblies. Each printer head assembly includes an axel attached to the shuttle main body, an assembly main body pivotably attached to the axel, a mounting plate attached to the assembly main body, a printer head attached to the mounting plate, and a drive mechanism for pivoting the head assembly between a substrate compressing position and a substrate non-compressing position.

摘要： A thermal printer, when operating under battery power, has an internal or battery ground. Static electricity is typically generated during normal operation of the printer. At least one static electricity discharge member is positioned in contact with a major surface of printing substrate at a location downstream from the location at which a thermal print head transfers ink from an ink transfer ribbon to the substrate. The at least one static electricity discharge member is electrically coupled to the internal ground so as to discharge static electricity build up that can otherwise damage electronic components of the printer.

One of the male and female side of the first interconnect is floatably mounted on the assembly with the other side mounted on an electrical instrument. The second coaxial interconnect is mounted on a mechanical alignment facility having coarse and fine mechanical alignment portions with the coarse mechanical alignment portion including a closely mating pocket and body. One of the male and female side of the interconnect is mounted on the pocket with the other side mounted on the body. One of the pocket and body is mounted on the interconnect assembly and the other of the pocket and body is mounted on the electrical instrument. A coaxial cable electrically connects the two coaxial interconnects together in the interconnect assembly.

摘要： An electronic interconnect adapter for a bulkhead mounted high speed coaxial interconnect has a rotatable coupling bushing with a central bore. One side of the bushing has an axially extending flange disposed around the bore with the flange having a threaded interior surface that threadably mates with a threaded exterior surface of the female side of the coaxial interconnect. The opposite side of the bushing has an axially disposed cavity with a diameter greater than the central bore forming a shoulder within the cavity. A male side of the interconnect has a flange radially extending from a shield contact with a mating member extending through bore. A radial slot is formed in the cavity adjacent to the shoulder that receives a retaining member that captures the flange between the shoulder and the retaining member to secure the male side of the high speed coaxial interconnect to the coupling bushing.
