摘要： A protective structure for protecting bottles, particularly wine bottles, comprises a first pair of elements (10) which are spaced apart horizontally. The elements have recesses (12, 14) in their upper surfaces for receiving bottles. There is a second pair of elements inverted with respect to the first pair and having recesses in their lower edges. The recesses of the second pair of elements register with the recesses of the first pair of elements so as to define circular bottle receiving openings. A ring of cushioning material lines each opening. The cushioning material is in the form of semi-circular strips, the strips of registering recesses forming a ring, or in the form of a complete ring. Each ring includes a web (24) which lies against the semi-circular faces (20, 22) of the recesses (12, 14) and flanges (26) which lie against the side faces of the elements (10).

The panels provide protection for the top, bottom and sides of both articles. Where the articles are stacked there is a panel between the top of the lower article and the bottom of the upper article. Where the articles are side-by-side there is a panel between the adjacent side surfaces of the two articles. A shipping container is also disclosed which comprises a liner having side wall panels, a lid and a base. Each panel comprises a number of parallel side-by-side tubes. There is an air manifold to which the tubes are connected and an air valve through which air for inflating the panels can be introduced. The liner fits snugly in an outer enclosure which is rigid or is a soft bag. A stiff inset sheet in the bag and against its base imparts rigidity to it. The lid is secured along one of its edges to the walling of the bag and there is a sliding clasp fastener along the edges of the lid and the top edge of the walling for releasably securing the other three edges of the lid to the side walling.

摘要： A mounting is disclosed for securing in place a sheet (56) which constitutes a liner, cover or curtain. The sheet has an elongate attachment zone (60) which is thicker than the material of the sheet. The mounting including a clip (10.2) which is formed with an elongate hollow portion (12) having a longitudinal slit (14) along the length thereof. The attachment zone of the sheet is in the hollow portion of the clip with the sheet emerging from the clip through the slit. A cord (62) is connected to a lashing point (64). The clip (10.2) has a passageway (40) through which the cord (62) passes thereby to attach the clip and the attachment zone to the lashing point.
