摘要： A liner for protecting two articles, stacked or side-by-side, comprises panels each of which consists of inflated tubes. The panels provide protection for the top, bottom and sides of both articles. Where the articles are stacked there is a panel between the top of the lower article and the bottom of the upper article. Where the articles are side-by-side there is a panel between the adjacent side surfaces of the two articles. A shipping container is also disclosed which comprises a liner having side wall panels, a lid and a base. Each panel comprises a number of parallel side-by-side tubes. There is an air manifold to which the tubes are connected and an air valve through which air for inflating the panels can be introduced. The liner fits snugly in an outer enclosure which is rigid or is a soft bag. A stiff inset sheet in the bag and against its base imparts rigidity to it. The lid is secured along one of its edges to the walling of the bag and there is a sliding clasp fastener along the edges of the lid and the top edge of the walling for releasably securing the other three edges of the lid to the side walling.

The combined apparatus including a combination of an expandable, air-tight storage bag and a soft-sided container for storing the storage bag therein. The soft-sided container having four side walls, a top portion, and a bottom portion defining a compact and low profile when in a collapsed state. A base support member is attached to the bottom portion of the container. At least one securing member is attached to the bottom portion of the container. In operation, as air within the storage bag is evacuated from the storage bag through the means for facilitating removal or entry of air from an interior of said storage bag, the storage bag and the compressible articles stored therein collapse into the soft-sided container.

摘要： An inflatable protective bag includes a housing sack, a gasbag, an inflation means, a check valve and a deflation valve. The gasbag is attached to an inner surface of the housing sack. The inflation means communicates with the gasbag through the check valve. The deflation valve is located on the gasbag. When the housing sack contains goods, air can be injected into the gasbag by the inflation means through the check valve to inflate the gasbag to provide resilient protection for the goods from being damaged. The air can be released from the gasbag by pushing the deflation valve to facilitate removing of the goods. Thus the inflatable protective bag can provide protection as desired.
