Abstract:
An organic electroluminescence element includes an anode, an organic light emitting layer disposed on an upper side of the anode, a first functional layer disposed over the organic light emitting layer and including NaF, a second functional layer disposed over the first functional layer and including an organic material containing Yb, and a cathode disposed on an upper side of the second functional layer. A method of manufacturing an organic electroluminescence element, includes forming an anode, forming an organic light emitting layer on an upper side of the anode, forming a first functional layer including NaF over the organic light emitting layer, forming a second functional layer including an organic material containing Yb over the first functional layer, and forming a cathode on an upper side of the second functional layer.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a light-emitting layer-forming ink useful in forming an organic light-emitting layer for an organic EL element by a printing process, including a tetralin-based organic solvent, and a solute including an anthracene-based, low molecular material and dissolved at a concentration of 3% or higher and 12% or lower in the tetralin-based organic solvent.
Abstract:
Each of blue light emitting elements includes: a photoanode; a translucent cathode; an organic light emitting layer between the photoanode and the translucent cathode; a first functional layer between the organic light emitting layer and the photoanode; and a second functional layer between the organic light emitting layer and the translucent cathode, and has a resonator structure. The first functional layer has an optical film thickness of 48-62 nm. The translucent cathode is a stack of a first translucent conductive layer, a metal layer, and a second translucent conductive layer stacked in this order from the second functional layer side. The first translucent conductive layer has a refractivity of 2.0-2.4, and a film thickness of 85-97 nm. The metal layer has a refractivity different by 0 to 2.0 from that of the first translucent conductive layer, and has a film thickness of 2-22 nm.
Abstract:
An organic EL element including an anode, a first functional layer including organic material, disposed above the anode, a second functional layer including organic material, disposed on and in contact with the first functional layer, a light emitting layer disposed on and in contact with the second functional layer, and a cathode disposed above the light emitting layer. A highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) level of the organic material of the second functional layer has an energy level at least 0.2 eV lower than that of a HOMO level of the organic material of the first functional layer, and film thickness of the second functional layer is 15 nm or less.
Abstract:
An organic electroluminescence element including an anode, a light-emitting layer, a functional layer, and a cathode stacked in this order. The light-emitting layer and the functional layer are in contact with each other. Hole mobility of the light-emitting layer is greater than electron mobility of the light-emitting layer. The electron mobility of the light-emitting layer is equal to or greater than an effective electron mobility of the functional layer. A highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) level of a first functional material included in the light-emitting layer is at least 0.4 eV greater than a HOMO level of a second functional material included in the functional layer.
