摘要: A method for activating a vaporizer device may include a point-of-sale device receiving, based on an identifier of the vaporizer device, activation data associated with the vaporizer device. The vaporizer device may be activated by communicating, to the vaporizer device, the activation data. The point-of-sale device may communicate the activation data to the vaporizer device via a dock coupled with the vaporizer device. Moreover, the point-of-sale device may communicate the activation data to the vaporizer device through a packaging of the vaporizer device. Alternatively, the point-of-sale device may communicates the activation data to the vaporizer device by communicating the activation data to a computing device associated with a user of the vaporizer device. The computing device may further communicate the activation data to the vaporizer device via audio signals and/or optical signals corresponding to the activation data. Related systems and articles of manufacture are also provided.

摘要: A vaporization device includes a cartridge having a reservoir that holds a vaporizable material, a heating element, and a wicking element that can draw the vaporizable material to the heating element to be vaporized. The vaporizer cartridge is configured for coupling to a vaporizer device body and containing a vaporizable material. Various embodiments of the vaporizer cartridge are described that include one or more features controlling the delivery of power to a heating element. For example, in order to achieve a target temperature for vaporizing the vaporizable material, the heating element may be powered using a variable boost circuit having a variable output voltage. Alternatively, the heating element may be powered using a current source generating a modulated electrical signal having an adjustable duty cycle. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

摘要: A vaporizer system may include a vaporizer device communicatively coupled with a user device configured to control the functions and/or features of the vaporizer device. The vaporizer device may serve as a replacement for traditional combustible cigarettes. Accordingly, the user device may be configured to collect usage data from the vaporizer device and generate recommendations to enhance and/or expedite the transition from traditional combustible cigarettes to the vaporizer device. For example, the user device may provide puff coaching to enable a more satisfying initial experience. Alternatively and/or additionally, the user device may recommend pod types and/or puff patterns that are associated with a reduction in overall intake.
