摘要: A food cooking apparatus having a container that forms a housing. A strainer is positioned within the housing and is rotatably mounted with respect to the container. A pressing element, such as a tab, is connected with respect to the container. When the container is filled with a cooking liquid, such as hot water, the strainer can be held with a handle and the tab can be pressed to apply a torquing force that rotates the container into a dumping position while simultaneously maintaining a generally horizontal position of the strainer, for example to prevent food from falling out of the strainer.

摘要: There is provided a plasma display device which can improve a brightness characteristic and a driving method thereof, where a screen load is detected and a rising time or a falling time of a sustain pulse changes depending on the detected screen load. A rising time or a falling time of a sustain pulse is extended when the screen load is large, compared to when the screen load is small. Therefore, brightness and discharge efficiency of a plasma display device can be enhanced when the screen load is large and a voltage margin can be enhanced while having a stable brightness characteristic when the screen load is small, so that a picture quality characteristic can be improved while enhancing driving efficiency of a plasma display panel.

摘要: A multi-layer three-dimensional display has three layers which are spaced apart in a common frame, with the front two being semi-transparent. Each layer is painted with a portion of an image, with the foreground details being on the front panel and the background on the back panel, etc. The central panel is a solid transparent sheet with the illustration applied thereto, and also being provided with a series of opaque, closely spaced light stripes. The front panel is preferably made of a screen similar to a window screen but could alternatively be a transparent sheet with or without a single grid of parallel lines. The display has an interior illumination means which cooperates with the visual effect of the front panel over the striped central panel in front of the opaque background panel to give the display a special shimmering effect and enhance its three-dimensional appearance.

The optical pickup device includes a light source emitting light at a designated wavelength; an object lens concentrating the light incident from the light source thereupon and forming an optical spot on an optical disk having multiple recording layers; and an optical detector receiving the light reflected by the optical disk and detecting a data signal and an error signal, wherein at least one diffraction pattern region partially diffracting or intercepting the light, emitted from the light source and being incident upon the object lens, and the light, reflected by optical disk and being incident upon the object lens, is formed on the object lens.

摘要: Non-polymeric drag reducing agents in the form of maleated fatty acids and the esters thereof and the organic, inorganic or amine salts thereof are described herein. These additives are useful to reduce drag in hydrocarbon fluids and multiphase fluids of hydrocarbon(s) and water. No injection probes or other special equipment is expected to be required to introduce the drag reducing agent into the liquid stream, nor is grinding (cryogenic or otherwise) of the additive necessary to form a suitable drag reducing agent. The drag reducing additives of the invention are not subject to shear degradation and do not cause undesirable changes in the emulsion or fluid quality of the fluid being treated, or undesirable foaming.

摘要: A plasma display apparatus is provided. Polygonal discharge cells are arranged in delta. Extension parts are extended from pairs of sustain electrodes that apply a voltage to the discharge cells to discharge spaces to face each other. Since the extension parts have at least one depressed parts, the efficiency of sustain discharge improves due to a long gap. Since the width of data electrodes formed under the discharge cells is large in the discharge spaces, a distance between the effective side surfaces of the pairs of sustain electrodes and the data electrodes is reduced so that the efficiency of address discharge improves.

摘要: Disclosed is a heat treatment system for semiconductor devices. The heat treatment system is used in a heat treatment process for semiconductor devices, such as a crystallization process for an amorphous silicon thin film or a dopant activation process for a poly-crystalline silicon thin film formed on a surface of a glass substrate of a flat display panel including a liquid crystal display (LCD) or an organic light emitting device (OLED). The heat treatment system transfers a semiconductor device after uniformly preheating the semiconductor device in order to prevent deformation of the semiconductor device during the heat treatment process, rapidly performs the heat treatment process under the high temperature condition by heating the semiconductor device using a lamp heater and induction heat derived from induced electromotive force, and unloads the semiconductor device after uniformly cooling the semiconductor device such that the semiconductor device is prevented from being deformed when the heat treatment process has been finished. The heat treatment system rapidly performs the heat treatment process while preventing deformation of the semiconductor device by gradually heating or cooling the semiconductor device.
