    摘要: A plasma display panel includes a front plate and a rear plate opposing the front plate. The front plate has a display region to generate a discharge between the front plate and the rear plate, and a non-display region provided in an outer periphery of the display region. A discharge gap is provided between a first electrode and a second electrode of the front plate. The first electrode includes a plurality of first projecting parts projecting from a first base part toward the discharge gap. The second electrode includes a plurality of second projecting parts projecting from a second base part toward the discharge gap. The discharge gap in the non-display region is larger than the discharge gap in the display region.

    摘要: A plasma display panel has a display region and a non-display region formed around the display region. The rear plate has data electrode that applies a drive voltage to the rear plate, a dummy electrode that is in parallel with the data electrode and does not apply a drive voltage to the rear plate, an insulating layer that coats the data electrode and the dummy electrode, and a plurality of horizontal barrier ribs formed on the insulating layer and orthogonal to the data electrodes. The data electrode is arranged in the display region and the non-display region. The dummy electrode is arranged in the non-display region. An outermost horizontal barrier rib is arranged in the non-display region. The outermost horizontal barrier rib is opposed to the data electrode via the insulating layer, and is not opposed to the dummy electrode.

The plasma display panel includes a front substrate on which a first electrode and a second electrode are positioned parallel to each other, a first black layer at a position corresponding to the first electrode, a second black layer at a position corresponding to the second electrode, a rear substrate positioned opposite the front substrate, and a barrier rib positioned between the front substrate and the rear substrate to partition a discharge cell. An interval between the first black layer and the second black layer ranges from 0.7 to times a shortest interval between at least one of the first and second black layers and the barrier rib.

    摘要: A plasma display panel comprises: a first substrate having a first side; a second substrate having a second side facing the first side of the first substrate; address electrodes, each extending in a first direction; sustain electrodes, each extending in a second direction crossing the first direction; sets of a first scan electrode and a second scan electrode, the sets and the sustain electrodes positioned alternately; first partitions, each extending in the second direction; and second partitions, each extending in the first direction. The second partitions and the address electrodes are positioned alternately. Each of the first and second scan electrodes has a line width narrower than a line width of each of the sustain electrodes. Each of the sets of the first scan electrode and the second scan electrode are positioned on a central region of a discharge cell. Each of the sustain electrodes overlaps each of the partitions.

The first and the second display electrode are disposed on both sides of one of the address electrodes adjacently, respectively, along the first direction.

In a cell, a first and a second display electrode are provided and coupled to the first and the second bus electrode respectively, and facing each other. In addition, on a dielectric layer covering the first and the second bus electrode and the first and the second display electrode, a plurality of address electrodes are provided which are disposed at respective positions facing first barrier ribs. Then, a protective layer is formed directly on the address electrodes and the dielectric layer, covering a surface of the dielectric layer and the address electrodes, and being exposed to the discharge space of the cell.

    摘要: A plasma display panel includes a first substrate, on which discharge sustain electrodes are formed, and an opposing second substrate, on which address electrodes are aligned in a first direction. Barrier ribs between the substrates define a plurality of discharge cells within which phosphor layers are formed. The display electrodes have bus electrodes, forming a corresponding pair within each of the discharge cells, and extension electrodes, extending from the bus electrodes into each of the discharge cells to form an opposing pair. A pair of the display electrodes corresponding to each of the discharge cells forms a first gap and a second gap having different distances from each other between the opposing extension electrodes, and forms a third gap between the bus electrodes. The second gap is longer than the first gap, and the third gap is longer than the second gap.
