摘要： The present invention relates to laundry machines, and, more particularly, to a safe laundry machine which enables a user to open/close a door easily, and can prevent an accident caused by opening/closing of the door from taking place.The laundry machine includes a cabinet, a drum rotatably mounted in the cabinet, a door having a latch for being opened/closed selectively to expose an inside of the drum to an outside of the laundry machine, and a door switch assembly provided for enabling opening/closing of the door, wherein the door switch assembly includes a switch unit for making selective connection to the latch, and an opening operation unit spaced from the switch unit for the user to enable to disconnect the connection between the latch and the switch unit.

A laundry treating machine includes a cabinet, a single partition wall partitioning inner space of the cabinet into a first space and a second space, and a hot air supply unit provided in the first space, the hot air supply unit supplying hot air to the second space and comprising a heating part. The heating part includes a heater heating air, a case supporting the heater to form an air path and preventing heat of the heater from transmitting in a different direction from the air path, a sensing part sensing the temperature of the heater, and a control part controlling the heater according to a temperature value measured by the sensing part.

摘要： A control method and system for a belt-driven clothes dryer are disclosed. The control system includes a drum containing a load of wet clothes to be dried, a heater heating air flowing into the drum, a motor coupled to the drum by a power transmission system for rotating the drum, and a power supply supplying power to the motor and the heater during a dry operation of the dryer. The control system further includes a moisture sensor outputting a sensor signal during the dry operation, or a photo coupler outputting voltage pulses when the motor is in operation during the dry operation. Then, a microprocessor included in the control system detects a breakage of the power transmission system upon analyzing the sensor signal of the moisture sensor or the voltage pulses generated by the photo coupler. If the microprocessor detects such breakage, it interrupts the dry operation of the clothes dryer.
