Abstract: A cap device for providing warmth to the head of a person including an outer cap having a water impervious outer surface and sized to fit over the hair of a person, a liner located inside the outer cap, the liner being sized to contact the hair of a person, and a heat source including a crystalline compound capable of exothermic reaction with water. Abstract: A washcloth or other personal hygiene cloth having an adjustable temperature when used. A first ply of fabric has a dry temperature changing chemical embedded on it to form an embedded surface and at least one additional ply of fabric is placed to cover the embedded surface. The addition of water to the device causes the dry temperature changing chemical to change the temperature of the washcloth device. The temperature changing chemical can be one that heats or one that cools the washcloth. More plies may be added to increase the thickness of the device.

Abstract: A device for heating the contents of a container when in contact with a container, comprising a sealed outer package, an actuatable heat source in the outer package and an inner package inside the outer package and having an actuation agent therein with a seal keeping the actuation agent in the inner package until the seal is broken. Abstract: A manually operable pill crusher device for use with pill pouches. A base includes a crushing surface over which a head is mounted. A handle is attached to a cam inside the head, and the head has a slot that permits the handle to move from a horizontal position to a vertical position. The cam is mounted inside a ram which slideably moves axially inside the head from a raised position in the head when the handle is vertical to a lowered position when the handle is horizontal. The ram includes a crushing surface engaging surface. The head also includes a slot through which a pill in a pouch can be inserted on to the crushing surface when the handle is raised. Lowering the handle then crushes the pill with axial force directly over the crushing surface, avoiding any cocking or arcuate pressure on the pill.
