    摘要: The present invention pertains to a siliconized polyester resin that has a sufficiently high Tg that the siliconized polyester is a solid at room temperature. The silicone polyester preferably has a Tg of 30° C. or greater. The silicone polyester can be produced as a particulate and remain stable at room temperature. The particulate silicone polyester is suitable for use in coating compositions, including powder coating compositions. The coating can be clear or pigmented, and thus optionally can include pigment. The coating composition also includes a crosslinker. The coating composition can be ground into a powder. The powder is stable at room temperature. The powder is then capable of being coated on a suitable substrate and then baked to form a coated metal object.

    摘要: The present invention pertains to an epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane resin, and an epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane coating composition comprising the epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane resin. The epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane resin which contains repeating units having the formulae: EaRb1Rc2SiO½  (M units) EaRb1Rc2SiO{fraction (2/2)}  (D units) EaRb1Rc2SiO{fraction (3/2)}  (T units) SiO{fraction (4/2)}  (Q units) wherein E is an epoxy-functional C1-18 hydrocarbon group containing one or more oxygen atoms, provided that no oxygen atom is directly bonded to a Si- atom; and R1 and R2 are independently a C1-20 hydrocarbon, optionally interspersed with a heteroatom linking group, a is an integer of 0, 1, or 2, preferably 0 or 1; b is an integer of 0, 1, 2 or 3, preferably 0, 1, or 2; c is an integer of 0, 1, 2 or 3, preferably 0, 1, or 2; and in M units, a+b+c=3, in D units, a+b+c=2, in T units, a+b+c=1, with the proviso that the molecule, on average, contain at least two E components.

    摘要: The present invention pertains to an epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane resin, and an epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane coating composition comprising the epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane resin. The epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane coating composition comprises the epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane resin of the present invention and a hardener. The epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane coating composition may optionally include pigments, a flow additive and a catalyst. The epoxy-functional organopolysiloxane resin is preferably prepared by reacting a silicone resin with a silane having at least one epoxy group per molecule. The coating composition cures through the crosslinking of the epoxy groups of the resin to provide a coating which is weather and corrosion resistant. The polysiloxane moieties in the resin render the cured coating resistant to U.V. light and heat.

    摘要: A multiple-use blood-blotting device includes a sheet of base stock which has a plurality of fingertip-sized recesses formed therein. A corresponding plurality of absorbent swabs are received in the recesses. The swabs may be releasably attached to the recesses so that soiled swabs may be removed. Lines of perforations may be formed in the sheet of base stock, allowing the sheet of base stock to be divisible into sections, with each section including at least one recess and swab. A protective sheet may be attached to the sheet of base stock to cover and protect the swabs. The protective sheet may have perforations which corresponding to perforations in the sheet of base stock, so that each of the swabs remains sterile and hygienic even if device is divided into smaller sections.
