摘要: This invention relates to novel non-isocyanate siloxane-modified glycidol carbamate (GC) resins and coating compositions containing them. The non-isocyanate siloxane modified GC resins of the invention comprise the reaction product of at least one organic polyisocyanate, glycidol, and at least one bis(hydroxyl alkyl)-terminated polydimethylsiloxane. The coating compositions of the invention comprise at least one non-isocyanate siloxane modified GC resin of the invention and at least one curing agent. The invention also relates to methods of making the resins of the invention and coatings containing them. The invention also relates to a fouling-release (FR) coating system comprising the coating compositions of the invention and methods of applying said FR coating systems to substrates. The invention also relates to articles of manufacture comprising a coating composition of the invention and a method of making such articles.

摘要: Curable silsesquioxane polymers are described comprising a core comprising a first silsesquioxane polymer and an outer layer comprising a second silsesquioxane polymer bonded to the core. The silsesquioxane polymer of the core, outer layer, or combination thereof comprises reactive groups that are not ethylenically unsaturated groups. The first silsesquioxane polymer of the core is bonded to the second silsesquioxane polymer of the outer layer via silicon atoms bonded to three oxygen atoms. In some embodiments, the outer layer has a higher concentration of reactive groups than the core. In this embodiment, the core may be substantially free of reactive groups. In other embodiments, the core has a higher concentration of reactive groups than the core. In this embodiment, the outer layer may be substantially free of reactive groups. The core and outer layer each comprise a three-dimensional branched network of a different silsesquioxane polymer. The silsesquioxane polymers of the core and outer layer may be homopolymers or copolymers. Also described are methods of preparing curable silsesquioxane polymer comprising a core and outer layer bonded to the core, articles comprising curable or cured compositions comprising the silsesquioxane core/outer layer polymers, and methods of curing.

摘要: A primer composition is provided. The primer composition comprises: (A) an organosiloxane block copolymer represented by the average unit formula: (R12SiO2/2)a(R2SiO3/2)b, wherein each R1 and R2 is independently an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms, or an aralkyl group having 7 to 20 carbon atoms, “a” is a number in the range of 0.40 to 0.90, “b” is a number in the range of 0.10 to 0.60, and “a+b”=1.00, and having 0.5 to 35.0 mol % of silicon atom-bonded hydroxyl groups or silicon atom-bonded alkoxy groups, in which resinous siloxane blocks are connected by linear siloxane blocks; (B) a curing catalyst; and (C) an organic solvent. The primer composition improves the adhesion of silicone-cured products to base materials of optical semiconductor elements, package materials, substrates etc., and can suppress peeling or cracking caused by heat cycles.

摘要: A method for producing a nanoimprint transfer body includes the steps of: forming, on a substrate, a film including a block copolymer capable of microphase separation and an inorganic precursor incorporated in one polymer block component constituting the block copolymer or a polymer phase including the polymer block component; subjecting the block copolymer to microphase separation to form a microphase separated structure including the block copolymer and the inorganic precursor incorporated in the polymer block component or the polymer phase including the polymer block component; removing organic components from the microphase separated structure to form a nanostructure of an inorganic component; and forming a nanoimprint transfer body by using the nanostructure as a master mold.

摘要: There is provided a method of synthesizing and using a segmented copolymer that includes mixing one or more α,ω (alpha, omega) amine or α,ω (alpha, omega) hydroxyl terminated polysiloxane first soft segments having an average molecular weight of between about 2500 grams per mole to about 10,000 grams per mole, and one or more diisocyanate species, together to form a first reaction product; mixing the first reaction product and one or more low molecular weight diol or diamine chain extenders each having an average molecular weight of less than 400 grams per mole, together in a solvent to form a segmented copolymer in solution; and applying the segmented copolymer in solution to one or more surfaces via spray coating directly from the solution with the segmented copolymer, wherein the segmented copolymer formed has a high flexibility at an environmental temperature of down to about −100 degrees Celsius.

摘要: A fluorine-containing polymer having (a) a repeating unit derived from a fluorine-containing monomer indicated by the formula CH2═C(—X)—C(═O)—Y—Z—Rf, (b) a repeating unit derived from a cyclic-hydrocarbon-group-containing acrylate ester monomer indicated by the formula CH2═CQ11—C(═O)—O-Q12, and (c) a repeating unit derived from an aliphatic-hydrocarbon-group-containing acrylate ester monomer indicated by the formula CH2═CQ21—C(═O)—O-Q22. The fluorine-containing polymer is produced by polymerizing in the presence of one or both of (d) a silicon-containing monomer and a silicon-containing chain transfer agent.
