    摘要: A pretensioned spring track tensioning system provides a two stage loading of a tension roller on the interior of a vehicle drive track. The two stage loading first loads the track under a lower tension load for normal operation, but when the track is highly loaded, such as when digging, or when debris is forced between the track member and its drive sprocket or guide rollers, the compression of the lighter spring will be stopped mechanically and a second heavier compression spring will provide the tension loading. The additional spring tension under unusual conditions prevents detracking of the track and buckling of the track. A lighter tension load during normal operations reduces the loads on bearings, particularly in relation to a drive motor. The tensioning system has particular adaptability to “high” drive type tracks which have a drive sprocket elevated above the tension roller.

    摘要: A construction nailing screw is configured to be used in like manner as traditional nails but rotate during driving through threading, providing retention of the construction nailing screw in the construction material(s), and the ability to be removed from the construction material(s) by reverse rotation. The construction nailing screw is characterized by a shank with a head on one longitudinal end, and a tip on another longitudinal end, with external threading that provides minimal friction during installation and mild resistance during removal, and two cutouts extending along the exterior of the shank and through the external threading. The head allows both a manual installation tool and an automatic installation tool to strike the head and drive (install) the nailing screw. The external threading has an upper side with a high pitch relative to the longitudinal axis of the shank, and a lower side with a low pitch relative to the longitudinal axis of the shank.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for communicating state information in an electronic message. First data representing a state of an electronic transaction is encoded, to result in creating an encoded message element that is impractical for a recipient to decode. For example, steganographic invisibility encoding may be used. The encoded message element is sent as part of a first message associated with the transaction. A second message associated with the transaction is received, and the third message includes the encoded message element. The encoded message element is decoded, to result in recovering the state of the transaction, which is used in processing the second message. As a result, large volumes of state information are sent to clients for local, transitory storage, precluding the need for a large state data store on the server side.

    摘要: A solid state, band-pass filtered, RF power amplifier for equalizing the response of an amplified RF signal across the entire tuning range of a multi channel transmitter is disclosed. An RF signal is applied to the input of a low noise FET amplifier with a portion of the signal coupled off into a frequency counter which in conjunction with a digital switching logic selects a path through a band-pass filter having characteristics that reduce the broadband noise of the RF signal passed therethrough. Additionally, a dual directional coupler samples the output of the power amplifier with the forward sampled signal being used to control the amplifier output to a preselected level and the reverse sampled signal being used to reduce the amplifier output signal in proportion to an increase in the voltage standing wave ratio load between the amplifier and the transmit/receive switch.
