Abstract:
A water filtration device for purifying water includes a housing, a tap, a top cover, a plurality of filters, and a handle. The housing has an upper opening, a closed bottom and a sidewall. The tap extends through the sidewall proximate to the bottom. The top cover has a rim and a porous medial surface that extends inwardly from the rim. The rim is configured to engage the sidewall to cover the opening. Each of the filters in the plurality of filters has an upper edge, a lower edge, and a mesh that extends inwardly from the lower edge. The handle has a pair of attachment ends and a central grasping section. The pair of attachment ends is configured to engage an associated pair of opposing attachment points coupled to the exterior surface of the sidewall proximate to the upper opening.

Abstract:
A digit splint, for partially immobilizing a digit, such as a finger or a toe, for therapeutic purposes. The digit splint of the present invention is of laminate construction having a base layer, a semi-rigid or rigid layer, and a covering layer. The base layer carries an adhesive for securing the splint to the digit. The semi-rigid or rigid layer, in one embodiment, is constructed of a heavier gauge polyester, or plastic, film. The covering layer is adhered to the base layer, with the semi-rigid or rigid layer sandwiched there between, and provides a, preferably, water-proof covering for the digit splint.
Abstract:
A method for processing one or more branch instructions in an instruction bundle is provided. The instructions are ordered in an execution sequence within the bundle, with the branch instructions ordered last in the sequence. The bundled instructions are transferred to execution units indicated by a template field that is associated with the bundle. The first branch instruction in the bundle's execution sequence that is resolved taken is determined, and retirement of subsequent instructions in the execution sequence is suppressed.
