摘要: During the dynamic generation of an auto-generated schematic, an arrangement of groupings on a page is controlled to minimize white space between on a page. The white space is compressed to minimize the number of pages for a schematic drawing having multiple pages. The compression process ensures that the coordinates generated by a compression process fall on the snap grid of an auto-generated drawing.

摘要: Building automation systems are dynamically configured according to rules for identifying building automation equipment. The rules define allowable configurations for a system based first on mechanical equipment, associated control strategies, and options for end control devices. A set of selections having default conditions may be followed to create a functional system. The selections can be refined to align the system requirements with a configured system. Estimating IDs, sequence of operation, mechanical and electrical schematics, control points, and graphics that are exported to the estimating and design tools may be generated for a configured system.

摘要: A user interface for designing a control system displays features of the control system to be configured. Options for a feature are determined and displayed when a feature is selected to be configured. A selection of an available option may be made and one or more corresponding control system components are identified and displayed. After the selection of an available option, the available options for the other features may be altered based upon the available option selected. A plurality of options for the other features also may be automatically identified taking into account the available option selected.
