摘要： An electrical connector for connecting a sheet-like connection member comprises a housing (1) defining an insertion slot (10), a number of terminals (2) arranged in the housing and each terminal having a contact beam (22) exposed in the insertion slot for contacting the connection member and a bearing beam (21) extending substantially parallel to the contact beam, and a pressing member comprising a front portion (35) and a pulling portion (36) extending beyond the front portion and shifted between an open position where the connection member is inserted in the insertion slot and a closed position where the connection member is urged to electrically contact the contact beam. The pulling portion is conveniently operated to drive the pressing member from the closed position to the open position to release the connection member.

摘要： An electrical connector for connecting a sheet-like member includes a housing (1) defining an insertion slot (10); a plurality of terminals (2) arranged in the housing in parallel relationship with a predetermined pitch, each of the terminals having a contact beam (22) extending into the insertion slot and a pivot beam (21) extending substantially parallel to the contact beam; and an actuator (3) rotatably provided for establishing an electrical connection between the sheet-like member and the contact beams. The actuator provides cam portions (31) each interposed between every other the pivot beam. Each of the cam portions provides shaft portions (32) respectively adapted for pivotably engaging with the pivot beams disposed therebeside. The shaft portions extending towards each other respectively from two adjacent cam portions are spaced to define a gap (33) therebetween.

The housing has a base (11) defining therethrough a number of passageways (114). Each contact has a body portion (21) and a pair of cantilevered beams (22) extending from the body portion. A retaining tab (212) is stamped from the body portion and abuts against a projection (116) formed in the passageway for protect the housing from possible movement with respect to a board on which the connector is mounted. The connector also has a stabilizer (30) assembled to the housing.

The pressing member is provided with an urging portion so as to have the connection member and the corresponding contacts engage with each other. The pressing member further defines an operating portion (36) opposite to the urging portion and extending outwardly away from a pivot axis (P) of the pressing member than other portions of the pressing member so as to allow operators to press in the center of the pressing member where the operating portion is situated. The operating portion also provides an available surface for picking and placing operation.

摘要： A system and method for automatically and dynamically initiating and establishing secure connections between a Server and a Client using a session control server (SCS). Both the Server and the Client are connected to an untrusted network (such as the Internet) through a Network Address Translator or Translation (NAT) router or a firewall. The SCS, independently trusted by both the Server and the Client, brokers the required connection parameters to establish a secure connection between the Server and the Client. The system and method does not require any user configuration on the Client and eliminates the need for the Server to accept explicit connection requests or packets from the Client, thereby allowing the Server firewall to always remain closed to all inbound traffic.
