摘要:
A cable pass-thru assembly includes a fiber optic cable and a cable pass-thru fitting. The fiber optic cable includes an optical fiber and a strength member. The cable pass-thru fitting is adapted to receive at least a portion of the fiber optic cable. The cable pass-thru fitting includes a fitting assembly having a body defining a thru-bore that extends through the body. The thru-bore includes a tapered portion. The cable pass-thru fitting further includes a cable retention member adapted for engagement with the tapered portion of the body. The cable retention member defines a plurality of through which the strength member of the fiber optic cable is routed. The plurality of grooves is adapted to secure the strength member when the cable retention member is inserted into the thru-bore.

At least a portion of the insert assembly is disposed in the bore of the housing assembly. The insert assembly includes a nozzle and a retention member. The nozzle defines a cable passage through which the optical fiber of the fiber optic cable passes. The retention member is engaged with the nozzle so that the strength member is captured between the nozzle and the retention member.

A fiber optic telecommunications frame is provided including panels having front and rear termination locations, the panels positioned on left and right sides of the frame. The frame includes vertical access for the rear cables. The frame further includes left and right vertical cable guides for the front patch cables. The frame further includes cable storage spools for the patch cables. The frame includes a horizontal passage linking the left and right panels and the cable guides. A portion of the frame defines splice tray holders and a central passage from the splice tray holders to the rear sides of the left and right panels. From a front of each panel, access to a rear of the panel is provided by the hinged panels. Alternatively, the panels can form connector modules with front termination locations and rear connection locations for connecting to the rear cables. The modules can house couplers, such as splitters, combiners, and wave division multiplexers. The termination locations can be located on the same side of the frame as the splice tray holders, or on an opposite side. An enclosure of the frame included hinged or otherwise moveable panels to allow access to the terminations or the splice trays.

A cable management assembly, and method related thereto, including a riser panel having an interface portion and a plurality of cable management devices. The interface portion having a plurality of shaped apertures. The cable management devices having attachments that correspond to the shaped apertures to secure the cable management devices to the panel at selected vertical and horizontal locations. The cable management assembly being configured to extend between two adjacent telecommunications racks or to couple to the end of a telecommunications rack.
