Abstract: A detection device includes a substrate, a plurality of photodiodes that are provided on the substrate, and include organic semiconductors, a plurality of transistors that are provided correspondingly to the respective photodiodes, and each include a semiconductor layer, a gate electrode, and a source electrode, a plurality of lower electrodes that are provided between the transistors and the photodiodes in a direction orthogonal to the substrate, and are provided correspondingly to the respective photodiodes, an upper electrode provided across the photodiodes, a first auxiliary capacitor electrode provided between the substrate and each of the photodiodes in the direction orthogonal to the substrate, and a second auxiliary capacitor electrode that is provided in the same layer as that of the semiconductor layer or the source electrode, and faces the first auxiliary capacitor electrode with an insulating film interposed between the first auxiliary capacitor electrode and the second auxiliary capacitor electrode.

Abstract: A detection device includes a substrate, a plurality of photodiodes provided on the substrate, a plurality of transistors provided correspondingly to the respective photodiodes, a plurality of gate lines that extend in a first direction, a plurality of signal lines that extend in a second direction intersecting the first direction, a plurality of lower electrodes that are provided between the transistors and the photodiodes in a direction orthogonal to the substrate, and are provided correspondingly to the respective photodiodes, an upper electrode provided so as to extend across the photodiodes, and a reflective layer provided between the substrate and each of the photodiodes in the direction orthogonal to the substrate. Each of the lower electrodes has a smaller area than an area defined by the gate lines and the signal lines, and the reflective layer is provided between the lower electrodes adjacent to each other in a plan view.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a housing; an optical sensor including photodiodes; a light source disposed in the housing so as to be close to an end of the optical sensor; and a control circuit configured to control light emission of the light source. The optical sensor includes gate lines arranged in a first direction away from the light source and electrically coupled to the photodiodes. The control circuit is configured to control the light emission of the light source such that, when the photodiodes are sequentially driven on a gate line basis, a total amount of light of the light source when detected by the photodiodes driven by the gate line closest to the light source is smaller than the total amount of light of the light source when detected by the photodiodes driven by the gate line farthest from the light source.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes: a base member having a first principal surface; a detection area provided to the first principal surface; a sensor including a plurality of photodiodes; gate lines; signal lines; and a light emission device. The light emission device includes light sources. A lit area in which the light emission device is lit up is a portion of the detection area overlapping the light sources. A portion of the detection area not overlapping the lit area is an unlit area in which the light emission device is not lit up. Photodiodes that overlap the unlit area are selected from among the photodiodes, and amounts of light received by the selected photodiodes are read.
