    摘要: A floor cleaning machine has a housing and a movable hood that covers over vacuum and liquid hoses of the machine that are visible in prior art floor cleaning machines. The vacuum and liquid hoses are each pivotally connected to a wall of the machine housing and are also pivotally connected to a transparent dome provided on the hood. These connections reduce stresses on the hoses when the hood is moved and allow the dome to pivot relative to the hood. The floor cleaning machine also has a pair of slit orifices that eject fan spray patterns of cleaning liquid that are non-coplanar and do not intersect each other. Furthermore, the floor cleaning machine has an oscillating brush assembly that includes a brush that is replaceable without using tools. The brush height can be adjusted via an adjustment member provided on the oscillating portion of the assembly.

    摘要: A table saw includes a work support table that defines a blade slot therethrough and at least one guide groove oriented generally parallel to the slot. A pair of trunnions are attached to the lower surface of the work support table, with at least one of the trunnions defining an adjustment opening having opposing sides. A cradle assembly has a blade mounted therein driven by a motor, and it is supported by the trunnions such that at least a portion of the blade extends through the slot in the work support surface. To provide adjustment of the blade heel, an adjustment member is received by the adjustment opening in the trunnion and is rotatably attached to the lower surface of the work support table. Rotation of the adjustment member causes the adjustment member to contact one of the opposing sides of the adjustment opening, thus moving the trunnion to adjust the position of the blade relative to the guide groove.

    摘要: An electrical generating system for aircraft with one or more engines includes a plurality of generators associated with the engines so as to produce respective AC outputs. The frequencies of these outputs can differ from each other, as a result of differing engine speeds and/or deliberate design, but they are to be connected to a common bus to avoid redundancy of wiring. One or more converters are present between the generators and the bus for adjusting the output frequency of the generators to provide an AC output voltage at a common bus frequency. The system includes a control system for setting the AC bus frequency in such a way that it can vary with time. The bus frequency may follow the natural frequency of the engine, and only small converters are needed to make the already approximately equal generator frequencies identical, so that they can all feed the common bus.
