    摘要: A system comprising a magnetic actuator, a current transformer and operational electronics in a dual-coil circuit breaker. The system includes an inline, but non concentric, implementation of the primary and secondary coils to maintain a narrow width suitable for retrofitting in standard industrial rack mounted enclosures. The system further comprises a split core design that is integrated into an upper and lower plate which slide together and are retained by a secondary coil bobbin. Typically, the two parts of the split core can be manufactured into net shapes by utilizing a powder metal or metal injection molding process. Moreover, the split core design disclosed herein can reduce costs and time associated with manufacturing and assembly of the current transformer.

    摘要: A system comprising a magnetic actuator, a current transformer and operational electronics in a dual-coil circuit breaker. The system includes an inline, but non concentric, implementation of the primary and secondary coils to maintain a narrow width suitable for retrofitting in standard industrial rack mounted enclosures. The system further comprises an I-shaped lamination stack that is designed to abut on the ends of an upper and lower plate of the current transformer. The I-shaped lamination stack significantly increases the overlap between the lamination and the upper and lower plates, which results in lower magnetic reluctance and improves magnetic coupling.

    摘要: A terminal covering cap is mounted over the connection terminals of a multi-phase electrical switching device in order to increase the electric strength between the connection terminals of neighbouring phases. The L-shaped terminal covering cap closely abuts on its side facing the insulating housing the marginal region of connection openings leading to the connection terminals, with a negligible air gap. With this barrier, the required increased test voltage between the connection terminals can be withstood. On the side facing away from the insulating housing, the terminal covering cap is provided with ribs, to extend the creep distance on this side of the terminal covering cap. The terminal covering cap formed in this way makes it possible to carry out testing a the prescribed, increased test voltage without enlarging the insulating housing in order to extend the creep distance between the connection terminals of neighbouring phases.
