The method comprises retrieving an email message and at least one audio/video attachment from an email account, and saving the email message and one audio/video attachment. The method further comprises analyzing the retrieved email message to determine if an IPTV account is associated with data that is comprised within the email message, and transmitting a notification to the IPTV account in the event that the email data that is comprised within the email message is determined to be associated with the IPTV account.
